zero-G NXT 5100-50 Lightweight, Ultra Flexible, Durable, Kink-Free Garden Hose, 5/8-Inch by 100-Feet (5/8" x 100ft)

I needed a durable, lightweight hose to water my garden. I have to drag the hose quite ways to reach my garden so lightweight was important as well as durability. I’ve bought plenty of the “pocket hoses” and they aren’t thick light but not durable at all. This hose is a bit heavier than the “pocket hoses” but not too much.

There are few utility products that get me excited but this hose is the exception. I ordered a second one for the back of our house. It is a total game changer as hoses go. It is very lightweight. My 100’ hose both uncoils and coils back up with absolute ease. For all of the hoses I have struggled with in the past, this is a joy by comparison. I’m not as young and strong as I used to be and this hose makes it totally easy move around and use. I never thought a hose could be this great!

This hoes doesn't just expand, it's a giant balloon, which makes it impossible to use in a hose reel (it either has to be fully "deflated" (depressurized) or fully inflated/pressurized when put on the reel, and taken off in exactly the same state, or it will expand or shrink and completely mess up the layers on the reel and make it impossible to unwind. Also, if it warms up, even if it was depressurized before, as it expands, if the end is removed (to change nozzles, etc.) it will create a forceful contraction and gush water all over. It is absolutely miserable to work with. If I could justify throwing out two brand new, functioning hoses, I would.

I was looking for a light weight hose, description said one pound, it was more like 25 lbs. Looked to be an excellent hose but way too heavy for me to wrangle. If I hadn't been looking for a light weight, probably a 5-star rating.

I don't know how much I spent in the past two years trying to find hoses that are not too hard to work with. I am 72 and need a 100 foot hose for the front and another for the back yard. These are very easy to extend out when trying to reach the ends of the yard. They are also very easy to wrap back up and out of the way.

10 year warranty a plus. BUT says it should be returned to place of purchase. I doubt Amazon would refund or replace nine years from now. Quick connects are not included. Seems very well made.

One of the best hoses I have ever owed. No tangle and live the material it’s made from.

I’m not sure how this product will hold up in Florida weatherI keep it covered from the direct sunlight, but I did with ZeroG and they didn’t last the 5 years warranty
