Strong magnet and works pretty well. The signal strength is really strong. My camper is aluminum (no magnetic surface on top) so I have this stuck to my bumper. I drove the truck up the road and it was about a hundred yards away before it lost the connection. I turned around and drove back and without the truck in the way (driving towards the camper) I got reception back thirty yards farther away. When it's on the bumper the lines aren't out as wide as I would like and the depth perception is a little off as far as when you will hit something backing up but it's only a foot or less. I have the spare tire on the bumper so I need to make sure to leave a few extra inches when backing up so I don't hit anything. I think that's probably more getting used to it when compared to my truck's back up camera. I will be mounting a plate on the top of the camper so I have a better view and I am sure that will eliminate all of the minor issues I have mentioned. I drove around town and up to about fifty miles per hour and did not have any loss of signal but will have to wait until next weekend to see how highway speeds are. If there is a problem, I will update this review but I really don't think there will be. Oh, and the solar panel on the camera is great! I plugged it in and charged it before putting it on the camper and have not taken it off of the camper yet and it still shows full charge. We even had three or four days with almost no sun and just rain and clouds.

I tried sending an email, but my out of date computer says you don't exist. So I'm sending it this way!I have a backup camera on my 31' motorhome. It's quite old like me. The monitor is foggy. Again, like me. I didn't want the replace it with something that ha to be wired in. I've seen my electric skill and they're not electrifying. This looked like an easy solution. I was very skeptical cause when I look out for number one, I step in number two as Rodney would say. But this thing is EVERYTHING advertised. I had it up and running in 5 minutes, only because I spent 4 reading directions. Then, I see where I can chose a free gift. What? No one does that. I found this a refreshing experience.

After putting this camera thru some testing I am quite satisfied. First off, the magnet is strong enough that I simply stuck it against the open receiver and then spring down a severely wash bias road for 5 miles at a speed I would not not drive at, that camera did not move at all. It actually takes both hands to get it off the edges of the open receiver. The commenters the camera and screen worked right off the get-go. We are running it on a Jeep TJ, so the distance is not all that far. But, it works and it’s about to head to Moab😊

2nd Update: Supplier sent replacement as promised. Seems to function as expected but will throughly test on next RV trip in July. Changed rating to 4 stars since they promptly replaced and unit performs as expected now.Update: I contacted Supplier and they are sending replacement screen. I will update review further once I receive replacement, but I was pleased with Customer Service help.Dash unit will not power on after 3 days of use. Camera is fully charged checked on different power sources and still won’t power on. VERY DISAPPOINTED CAN’T recommend.

This back up camera is great super strong magnet and runs using blue tooth and not WIFI. The 7 inch screen is awesome for mounting in a RV. Installation is basically plug in the monitor charge the camera turn it on and the back up is up and working. My 25 ft motor home has no issues with signal strength and it has a super wide angle so you can see on both sides of the vehicle I would recommend this unit

Very good product. Arrived quickly and had an easy set up. Video installation was helpful and the product began working immediately. We are using this on our RV for a replacement of the original that gave out. The magnet is more than strong enough and we have bought a second one for our side by side. I highly recommend this product, very good price as well.

Easy to install. I just needed to attach a steel plate to the trailer for the magnet to stick to. My trailer is 24 ft and the signal to the cab of the truck is strong. After installation I went to have a stabilizing hitch installed and the mechanic was in awe at the low cost and the quality of the camera and moniter.

The Quality is Very Good and the Monitor provides clear pictures!! I have an older truck that didn't come with an OEM Back Up Camera, so this Pemacom Camera is very helpful for me to hook up my larger brand-new trailer that I just bought. Quality wise, it's neck to neck to OEM's camera. If you have a 2nd Camera, it's also easy to pair it to the system!!Overall, I'm happy with the Product.
