The factory one breaks almost every year on the year, a dealer keeps raising the price so I ordered these, so far been using the same 1 for 6 months with no issue.

Only needed one, but the two pack was less expensive than buying an individual one was.It was also a lot cheaper than the Toyota dealership was for the bushing.So far it has held up very well on our Tacoma, and was easy to put in.

Complete trash, they don’t even come close to fitting. I’m going to have to take a dremel and gap the opening to fit. Don’t waste your money, do what I should have done and spent the extra $10 to get Toyota factory parts.

The tailgate on my '21 Tacoma had broken and I no longer had the soft opening on my tailgate. This inexpensive part fixed the problem that would probably have cost over $100 to take to any mechanic much less a dealtership. And now I have a spare if I need it.

Junk, only reason it's got 2 stars is because the second one I haven't installed yet but I'm sure it's as much junk as the second. These are obviously made out of a cheaper crappier plastic than OEM and did a poor job replicating these, my OEM one lasted 8 years. These don't fit without having to hammer it on to the male side and then I had to bore out the inside with a Dremel tool on the female side to eventually get it to fit. Once it did the top outside (which I didn't touch) cracked immediately after cycling the tailgate the first time. So will be returning (honestly not worth the postage to return).
