Great for a begginer!
I have had this induction wok for about a month. (my first one) I have used it several times for stir fry and frying chicken. it is super fast to heat up and if you do some research, cleaning up is ez. I would make sure you have plenty of time to season the wok. i believe this is one of the most important things you need to do before using the induction base. So far, as of this review, i have had zero issues with the base, i did do a lot of you tubing to research induction wok cooking and its has been awesome to use and learn as i go. If you want to "flip" your wok, this one isn't easy to flip but for straight up no frills cooking you can not beat the price. it also has a commercial feel to it like something you would find in a diner or Chinese food joint. on a last note, this system is very easy to use and always ready to cook a meal. i have mine on the counter and its simple just to turn it on and be cooking eggs and bacon in less then a min.....

Good wok set up but not red hot.
Nice wok set up - but doesn't glow red. Better for small portions - heats up well for this. I'm not saying don't buy it - it is a good product. But my modified turkey fryer wok (used outdoors) gets the heat right.

Amazing WOK and Cooktop for the money!
Awesome wok and induction burner. WAY BETTER than the Nuwave, the erratic power of which was dangerous almost starting a grease fire by allowing the pan to skyrocket to 450°F when set at 250°F. This Lecon has smooth power control that does not make irrational promises and unless it's at full power it doesn't fly past 400°F. But if you want it to with 16 amps of draw at 1800 watts on 120v this thing screams to nearly 500° if you want it to. The Keep Warm button works pretty well, it is way hotter than "Warm" but it dependably cuts off at 245°F and doesn't turn back on until it gets down to 190°F. And the WOK is amazing quality for this price very round, relatively light, and hard cast iron that was easy to season. The wood handle is not finished very well and therefore cracked a little, I glued it back together, stained it to maybe wood in my kitchen and sealed it completely with Total Boat Halcyon Varnish. There was a lot of dirt and mill scale or something from the casting of the wok. I ended up sanding the inside with 220 grit sandpaper and steel wool until the black stopped coming off on paper towels. Then Seasoned it with one coat of avocado oil at 500°F in the oven for 20 minutes without the wooden handle. One time was all it took and the rest of the seasoning has been done by using the pan a lot.

Great burner with a better wok
I've owned this induction stove since November and I love it. The original wok was way too thin, so I gave it away for free. I'm using a hand-hammered wok from ZSH instead, which is excellent.I can heat up the wok on empty to nearly 800F, and I consistently use the burner from 1500-1800W. You will need to master carbon steel cooking in order for food to not stick, but I get stick-free results even with tofu, rice, and noodles.
