Ironing Made Easy and Effortless!
Ironing has never been my favourite chore, but this Cordless Steam Iron has made it so much easier and even a bit enjoyable! I was drawn to this iron because of its cordless feature, and it hasn’t disappointed me.The first thing that caught my eye was the sleek design and the vibrant purple colour but beyond looks, this iron is all about performance. The ceramic soleplate glides smoothly over all fabrics. No more sticking or dragging, just a smooth glide that makes ironing feel almost effortless. The cordless feature is an absolute game-changer. I love the freedom of movement it offers—no more getting tangled up in a cord or awkwardly trying to manoeuvre around it. The iron heats up quickly and retains heat well, so I can get through a whole pile of clothes without having to constantly return it to the base. The variable steam function is another big plus. It provides just the right amount of steam to tackle even the most stubborn wrinkles, and I appreciate the option to adjust the steam level depending on the fabric. The water tank is easy to fill, and it holds enough water for a good amount of ironing before needing a refill. The 2400W power means it heats up in no time, and I’ve noticed that it stays consistently hot, which is something my old iron struggled with. It’s also surprisingly lightweight, making it easy to handle, even for longer ironing sessions. If I had to nitpick, I’d say that it takes a bit of time to get used to the cordless base—remembering to place it back on the stand between clothes to keep it at the right temperature. But once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature.Overall, the Tower T22008 has exceeded my expectations. It’s efficient and easy to use, and the cordless feature does make a difference. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and hassle-free ironing experience.

Excellent Iron and is Cordless!
Excellent iron for the price. I was fed up of buying cheaper irons which didn't heat up or have the convenience of cordless. All reviews for cordless steam irons where directing me to £70 plus cost points. Step in the Tower Ceraglide cordless at £20-£30 what excellent value for money! - offering much more freedom. Charging is fast and convenient as it charges during the ironing task itself. All you do is stand iron on charger whilst positioning the clothing you are ironing and it will topuo the charge to continue using as a cordless iron!Conveinent as cordless or corded, for corded pop on charger stand and slide to lock position you can now use as a corded iron.Oozes convenience and userability, if you need steady continuous steam and heat for tackling very stubborn creases, you can just quickly clip the charge plate on (in 3 seconds) and you have a standard steam iron. Also lovely colour options and modern sleek look. Lightweight iron.

Lightweight but efficient. Impressed for price.
I wasn't sure quite what to expect from this iron, due to it's price and I never had a Tower iron before. However, as my 19 year old Phillips finally died yesterday, I ordered this. It is lightweight, especially compared to my old iron. It also has a ceramic sole plate. I have always had stainless steel sole plates. I read the book, filled it up and switched it on. It was easy to fill. First obstacle overcome!!!!! It was quick to heat up to cottons setting. It passed that test!!!!! Now for the real test........a pile of, some quite crushed, and some heavy, ironing which had to be abandoned yesterday!!!!!! My husband's very crushed Egyptian cotton shirt it sailed over!!!!! I was impressed. Given the weight of it, I wasn't sure it would cope but it did a better job than my old friend and the ceramic sole plate meant it just glided over the fabric. Lovely!!!!!! The jeans were a doddle. A wee blast of steam on my husband's favourite cargo pants, which are a nightmare to iron as a rule and they were done. Now, up the temperature for my linen skirts!!!! One had been crushed in the wardrobe but, a wee spray and it was done. The rest was easy.I have to say, I used the iron corded. I like being able to lock the base onto the iron. The shorter cable is not an issue for me, in fact, my old iron, I was always standing on the cable and pulling the plug out!!!!!! I iron in the bedroom, right beside a socket so it was perfect. If I was ironing something intricate, I would use it cordless but, as there is no weight to it, corded was easier. I was dubious about this iron but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. In fact, it is easier to use than many, much more expensive ones and I cannot warrant £80+ on an iron, sorry, my money is needed elsewhere!!!!!Well done Tower on this wee gem. I am so glad I bought it although, I doubt if I will get 19 years from this one, or any other on the market these days!!!!!!!!!!! I am happy with what I have though.
