With our most recent rescue puppy who was severely malnourished, even with a couple months of high quality food and other tried and true supplements, his coat was dull, brittle, thin, motley and shed heavily; after reading reviews that stated they saw a difference in two days, I was a bit skeptical because it takes more than two days for hair to grow realistically, but after two weeks, we did see less shedding and new growth coming in shinier, thicker, etc. We’re now in the middle of our second bag and it has made a tremendous difference in his coat, it’s now thick, shiny, healthy, softer (his breed has coarser curly coats so as soft as possible) and there is so much less shedding as an added bonus! I give it to my dog sprinkled on his kibble twice a day. Dose as recommended for his weight. This stuff is awesome. I bought it because my dog has dry/flaky skin even tho he gets high dollar food and salmon oil every day. We use it for 2 months now and his fur is even shinier than ever and his skin isn't as flaky as it was anymore. First of all he loves it, he can't wait til I put down his food bowl (he jumps and dances) and second his anal gland issues are gone after fighting for 4 years! This is the best side effect I could dream of. Not sure if it works for every dog with anal gland issues but it helped us! The stool seems to firm up a lot. This is the 2nd bag I ordered and for sure not the last!!! If there were 10 stars to give I would! Love it love it love it.

We bought this because after hyperthyroidism treatment for our cat we now think she has hypothyroidism. She was sluggish and slept all of the time and her fur was very dry. It seems to help a little bit with the fur but she is undoubtedly more active which was our biggest concern. Just watch out if you have more than one cat/animal as we've read that kelp can cause hyperthyroidism and you don't want that.

I'd mixed the OG Missing Link into my previous dogs' food to good effect, but I was skeptical this formula would work as well on my pitbull with food allergies. Happily, my dog loves this stuff sprinkled into her dry food or stirred in along with a spritz of warm water. It's a little smelly and sticks to dishes, so clean it up promptly. The improvement in her coat is remarkable and well worth it! Will definitely have this stuff continuously in stock at home.

In about 3 weeks from starting The Missing Link Pet Kelp Canine Skin and Coat powder there was a total turnaround in our 16 year old mixed breed! Sensitive stomach issues along with being a finicky eater left his coat in a state of dullness and overwhelming shedding. Thank heaven he actually likes the taste of this powder on his home cooked food!I would recommend giving this a try if your dog is having skin and/or coat issues. It has been a miracle for our old boy!

I cannot thank this product enough. It has worked miracles on my two dogs. My retriever/chow mixed suddenly became allergic to grass. The scratching was horrible and all the vet could suggest was kidney damaging steroid shots. I also adopted a labradoodle from a puppy mill with not much immune system. She fast became a walking vet bill. At the end of my rope and everyone sick of non stop medications I found this great product online. Took less than two weeks for serious, noticeable change. For the first time in a year my bacteria /yeast infection prone, incredibly smelly labradoodle just got a proper haircut ! Groomer could not believe it was the same dog.
