This paints that is definitely more for having fun,not to do anything that’s going to be hung up and you want it to last for hundreds of years. With that being said these paints in my opinion are beautiful the laydown is lovely don’t expect to have professional laydown or a professional look to it but with these paints you will get a beautiful piece out of these paints every time. I started out with a smaller‘s travel set set and I wound up getting the larger one I also own more professional paint sets but still find time and want to find time to play with these the case is durable and sturdy it has a lock feature when it’s closed so it won’t open up when you store it the pallet that comes with it is a wonderful size you have plenty of space to mix although with all the paint colors you might not need all that space . This is a great set as long as you’re need is more along the line of sketchbook/junk journal/card making you won’t be disappointed.

I recommend using these as a step up for artists who want a budget watercolor palette and are experienced in watercolors! It's also great for beginners; it's very pigmented and offers a large range of colors to experiment with!

An interesting assortment of colors for a reasonable price.

Some of the colors don’t mix well. They are chunky or gritty. It has been a great set through my journey of learning water color! After a year I just finally purchased a high end water color set and will use this as travel or playing around. -happy shopping
