I bought this because the cost of accessing recorded videos from our existing popular branded doorbell camera more than doubled over the last couple of years.Installation is easy, with angled and flat brackets supplied. The base station works in the same way as the Ring "Chime" and, unlike Ring, comes with this as standard, rather than needing to pay another £30 just to be able to hear the doorbell in your house.Image quality is excellent, giving a 360° view which can be scrolled around as a normal ratio picture, or viewed like a fisheye lens. Night vision is good and the live view is smooth and responsive.The base station is very loud and clear. I've had to fiddle with the settings a little to stop being bombarded by notifications and the "ai" features seem to think everything from a bush to a car is a "person", but the same goes for other brands too.There is local storage in the base station, so no need for paid cloud access to view previously captured videos. Cloud storage, if wanted, costs around £30 per year (default cost is $40 but there is a sale on at the moment for $30).This is a much better value proposition than the doorbell camera I removed and provides a high quality solution with a useful app.

To say I am blown away by this Botslab doorbell is an understatement. This is my first ever purchase of a video doorbell and boy am I thrilled with it! The Botslab doorbell meets all expectations on every level and great value for your money I actually paid more for it than the current price but i am not phased by that as its worth every penny, I now have two thanks to Botslab one on the front of my property and one on the back. Its so easy to connect to the Wi-Fi and down load the app onto your mobile.The features are so good, I really like the 180 degree wide angle, it totally astonishes me how much I can see from side to side and up and down. I like the night vision so much, it so clear, I often look at it in the night when I up to see if anyone is lurking, the daytime videos are brilliant too and of course the feature of speaking to someone who rings the bell. No outrages monthly subscriptions! the free memory that Botslab provide is plenty but if you wish there is an option to buy more on top of the free storage through Botslab.The battery seems to last for months without having to charge it or of course you can hard wire, personally I wouldn't bother I would just charge it, its so easy the take off the wall, I also like the feature of the very loud alarm if someone try's to steal it and of course you get the video of them stealing it on your app!!! thats a win win!The app is so good, it has every feature you need to set the doorbell to your own needs and so simple to use. The Botslab user group face book page is a must if you are a face book user, I've learnt so much from other users and like wise I have been able to help others I love being part of this group its so interesting, anyone who asks a question also gets answered by a Botslab representative, they are extremely helpful, they will also email you, or what's app or messenger you, the team are always on hand to help with issues and go out of their way to solve a problem as soon as possible.I cannot recommend this Doorbell highly enough and the team support that comes along with it, buy it today honestly you will not be disappointed.

Bought this to replace an EZVIZ doorbell which had fogged up! This Botslab doorbell is fantastic! Very easy to install with no problems at all. The picture quality is superb very clear , much better than my previous doorbell. Connected to my wifi 1st time no dramas at all. Very easy to understand instructions and easy to setup. Had one issue trying to connect to Alexa but this was solved quickly by an online chat with Yana . You can also change the view from fisheye to horizontal correction to vertical correction - a breeze to use!

Well made product. Easy to install.But like other reviewers the doorbell ringtone is poor acoustically. Not very clear and sounds distorted.Good price and solid construction.

I've had this doorbell for a couple of weeks now and I must say that I'm very pleased with it, but I'm also pleased with the Botslab customer support. I noticed that apart from the standard bracket that comes with it, they used to include an angled bracket as well which suits my door better. I mentioned this to Botslab and they sent me an angled bracket for free from Italy, so I was very impressed by this. As regards the doorbell, the picture is very clear and the software on my iPhone works perfectly. I was away from home the other day and spoke to a delivery guy via doorbell linked to my iPhone – it worked perfectly. The doorbell itself looks very smart at the side of my door – what is there not to like?

Very good doorbell camera. Very good battery life it's recording capabilities are excellent. It is a very easy setup. Excellent value for money. And great customer service, excellent after service.Great company. Very pleased.

This looked the bees knees when I researched doorbells and wanted something with no subscription. Video is great. Set up easy. Connectivity can be a problem placement of home unit must be close to doorbell and router as possible for it to accept signal. Audio a little poor. Bell could be louder. Notification via phone call hit and miss. For me it is somewhat disappointing. However will keep it for the video which I will use instead of buying an outdoor camera. Would I buy this make again probably not there must be better.
