A Peek At The Design
The media could not be loaded. I ended up returning the XL and upgraded to the same dark style,… it comes i. different colors, I think interesting dark does best for carrying solid shade and more secure privacy, but I went up in size to the 6 person so that we have SPACE!!silly americans..cons-Sleeve style pole system is more difficult to assemble than the hook style. You have to have a push pull relationship with the pole, so it doesn’t separate or get caught up in the fabric sleeve. You’ll know what I mean when you put it together so it helps to have a partner.- the windows could use an additional latch hook to keep them rolled up when you want a breeze- it’d be nice to have an overhead bungalow but you could probably get creative on that- XL says 3 to 4 people but two adults as you see in the video we had enough space but if we spent much time in there, I wouldn’t mind more especially if we had chairs. I think mom, dad and a child would be fine.- sandbags are kind of a pain to fill and a pain to empty. You just gotta think like turning a pillowcase inside out. Either be prepared with your hands or some sort of shovel in order to fill the pockets when you set up. Fill the sandbags right away, it’ll help keep everything in place as you secure the screws- OK so the bag is a little small but if you have any experience whatsoever in folding tents, then you’ll be able to get it back in the bag. i happen to have extensive experience in this field, so I was able to get it back in and the screw bag but it was a tight fit so I don’t suppose the set up would last very long befoe seams give way.- cleanup. Well, when isn’t cleanup? Difficult at the beach? I found it easier to get the tent shaken out and fold it as best. I can then not actually get it back into the bag properly until I’ve made sure all the sand is out, because sand will destroy the stitching and the fabric, it is like little glass knives working at destroying the integrity of the tent. Once it is clean, then you can lay it out and fold it properly. all you have to do is measure the bag and then measure the sides of the tent folded out as if it were a square. Other words take the front flap and fold it over so it becomes a square. Mathematically, you should figure out pretty easily how you need to fold the tent and then roll it up in order to get it to fit in the bag lengthwise properly.good God don’t make me do another video.pros- Once you learn how to assemble it, you’ll never never forget- once the sandbags are filled and you have the screws in, you may need to adjust them. The best way to do it is to screw on an angle away from the tent pole. So don’t go directly down but at least 30° n the away direction.- I still haven’t set up the larger version but I believe we’ll be able to stand up in it no problem, the XL, we kind of had to hunch, but could sorta stand up- the entranceway is a very nice piece because it can be staked down and as you see in the video it’s used to get the sand off of our feet before we get inside- The windows are positioned in such a way that you can block the sun virtually anytime a day in order to keep your cooler or yourself, in the shade- if you need privacy, say to maybe, I don’t know, relieve yourself perhaps, you could easily zip up the front if you needed to, but being able to see out each side of the window. This makes bathroom trips really easy. Now if you really need some privacy for some other reason, you can zip that sucker up and nobody will know what’s going on in there.- the sand is surprisingly easy to get out so I would recommend broom, soft and wide. I used a towel, but you will end up sweeping sand out of this thing no matter how hard you try to keep it out. The fabric is very cooperative in whatever direction you swish it.- I really do recommend bringing a bucket and filling it with water to rinse your feet and then a towel specifically to dry them before entering. Definitely bring a blanket you don’t want to lay directly on the tent itself in my opinion and if you’re going to put chairs or cots in there, expect that it’s not going to last very long, flooring wise. you really need to enforce it with the tarp on the bottom first, and then a tarp on the inside. Then maybe furniture would be OK.- I’ve used this tent when it was pretty chilly outside and it made a huge difference in keeping us warm while we got to watch the sunset over Chicago and Lake Michigan from the Indiana Dunes. This video was taken at Mustang Island near Corpus Christi, Texas. Perfect Beach Tent!
the tent withstood a windy day out in SPI with no problems. super easy to set up and what i liked is that it comes with pockets to stuff sand in to add weight on top of the screw tipped stakes it comes with.just wish it was easier to fold? but cant take a star off for being lazy/obtuse

Very spacious
It’s very spacious, and lightweight. Folds easily but is a bit confusing to pitch. On a moderately windy day, it’s near impossible to keep it grounded - you’d have to also place sand bags to the front of it.

Impressed
Just arrived, so this is initial impressions. Small bag with tent and accessories inside. Weighs @4-5lb. Not a one step auto open like some, but very easy set-up. Definitely easier with two people setting it up. Took maybe 3-5 minutes tops but wouldn’t take that long now that we’ve done it once. Very nice once set up. Got the teal/aqua with gray floor. Comes with metal stakes and the yellow plastic screw in stakes. Can definitely put two beach chairs in it easily. We will see what the longevity is. Initial impression is we are happy with this purchase!

Really keeps the sun off.
Initially I put this up in the yard, so to get used to it. It’s a tad difficult to put up, and the poles are very long. If I was going to give it a rating after this, then it would have been a three or a four. However, we took it to the beach and because of the practice of putting it up in the yard, it was much easier. We live in Florida so it’s Hot! I don’t like going to the beach and usually only last a hour, because we live in Florida and it’s Hot! This time, we spent all day at the beach. Relaxing in a deck chair, under cover was great, and this shelter certainly did its job. Five Stars.

Great idea in theory, but BEWARE OF FIBERGLASS!
I bought this to use at the beach or lake, especially for days when we plan on staying for hours. While I didn't think it was a bad product; assembly and disassembly were quite easy to figure out without instruction, material seemed to hold up while setting up in the garage, we even managed to fold it back into its designated pouch without hassle, the main issue were the poles! I did read reviews about how some users experienced being poked with fiberglass, and they were absolutely right. Upon assembling, my husband and I were unfortunately stuck with fiberglass, so we had to slip on some gloves for disassembling so we wouldn't have to deal with more fiberglass. Because that was an issue right from the get-go, we decided this was not for us, so we weren't able to test out its durability in wind and resistance to elements of the beach and/or outdoors in general. It's a great idea in theory! I liked that it came with a pouch, making carrying and transport easy, but we could not get passed having to risk being poked by fiberglass, that sucked!!If you're willing to and remember to pack some gloves (I know we wouldn't lol), I think this would be a great product for you and your family!

BIG FOR THREE PEOPLE!!!
I’m so happy to get this tent, was skeptical at first but after reading reviews I decided to give it a try. I got sunburned on a few of our trips last year and wasn’t taking any chances this time for our upcoming vacation. This tent is definitely big enough for 3 people and not to mention it has a lot of room for your things, 2 pockets on the inside and 2 deep pockets for sand just the windy days on the beach! Also, it has privacy curtains on 3 sides and a zip front in case you have babies and need to change them. Everything all right the only reason I have it 4 stars is because I want to test it out on our upcoming trip and will come back with an update!
