I got this as a gift for my husband as he loves these sort of gadgets. He was impressed with the quality and style of the optic. It was easy to put together and figure out how to operate. We took it into a pitch black garage to test it out and we're very impressed with how well it captures any light. The picture was bright and clear. The zoom is high but when used outdoors will be very useful. He was also very excited that it came with an attachment to mount it on a firearm.

The media could not be loaded. It's definitely not protools but it will come in handy when you need to see on the dark. I'm not doing an unboxing review as there are already a few so I recorded some video to show you the quality. It's decent for the price. It has good clarity and ability to focus manually. The infrared seem to be really powerful and lights up everything. I'm surprised at how clear things are at over 200 yards away. The POV is magnified some by default which is kind of a bummer, but overall it works. If you need something like this to throw in your go bag you can't beat the price for the quality. It comes with some kind of head gear that I can't figure out so it's easier to just hold it like binoculars when using. You can attach it to a tripod or something as well which is good. The instructions are very minimal. You can move the cross hairs in the screen in case you want to mount in to a pewpew, which is a plus. Not sure how long the battery lasts. It's been on for 30 minutes and still shows a full charge. Overall, for the price it's good.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re nicely built and heavy to prove it. They work perfect just not for my application, hence the low star score. But they work great for shirt to long distance not right up front.

This thing is super cool! It does a great job of picking up the available light and allowing you to see in the dark. It looks like this product supports being mounted onto the rails of another device The magnification works well, allowing you to see stuff hundreds of feet away fairly clearly. My only real complaint is I wish the display had a better resolution. That said, this is the first night vision item I’ve ever used so I can’t really provide a great comparison against other options. Overall it seems pretty cool for the price.

The head strap is not sturdy enough to hold the weight of this monocular. There is no amount of adjusting you can do to hold it steady on your head without using a hand to hold it. It is not 7X magnification it is a fixed magnification of 7 and cannot be adjusted back to see up close to walk. So, you are still using a white or red flashlight to see up close for walking. Yes, it does come with a mount to use as a scope and has sight lines to adjust it as a scope, would I use it this way no. It has good clarity up to about 100 hundred feet the battery lasted over 4 hours. I would have probably given it more stars if it had a decent head mount. As a head mount night vision, it is a decent price point. But as a monocular there are cheaper ones with 2 to 8 digital zoom that I figure are a little better than this. I suggest using plastic as the head mount with a dial adjuster for it to tighten to fit people's heads. As it is now it is not worth buying even at this price point because the head strap allows the goggles to press against your cheek bone and eye socket. People are not mannequin heads we feel pressure. So, my suggestion to others looking to buy night vision goggles buy a better pair this isn't it or go with a monocular with digital zoom.

When the product came I was expecting the smaller more lightweight looking version of it but when I opened the box it was big and bulky. The mount for the nvg is very flimsy and cheap.Picture quality is good and infrared works well but it comes way too zoomed in and it seems there’s no way to fix that. Might be a very good (but expensive) toy for a kid but definitely not for professional use.

It's a shame this didn't turn out, could never get it to focus, it's way to much zoom to wear as a monocular. I regret buying this stupid thing.
