Simple, effective, and accurate
This is perfect for the price. Good strength on the clip without it scratching pans. Temperature aligns with my analogue probes also.

Had this for about a year and no complaints. Ironically, I'd say the best thing about it might simply be the metal clip that lets you attach it to the side of a pan. Mega-useful.Would be nice if it had a temperature alarm so you didn't need to watch it the whole time. Also the automatic switch-off after about ten minutes can be slightly annoying, but not a deal-breaker; just hit the button on the top to turn it back on.Recommended.

Perfect for caramel making
I bought this specifically to make different kinds of confections particularly caramel and toffee. This thermometer works so well on the side of my stainless steel pot. It's extremely easy to use and the temperature seemed to be perfect. Great value for money. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Ensure not too close to edge of pan
Really good thermometer, works well and easy to use, first time fudge maker, my tio would be to make sure it’s away from the edge of the pan for accuracy

Piece of junk
Three words: piece of junk. I already bought this item three times thinking I was unlucky with the previous one. It broke every time , not lasting more than a month each time.
