High quality, robust compass, not sure there is more to say, has all the features I was looking for.

Old school but great device especially when gps devices can’t locate satellite. Highly recommend this and to watch instructional videos. Don’t forget to calibrate it to allow for declination.

I think I received a used product, the closure with the mirror is loose and doesn't stay open on its own, forcing you to use two hands if you want to use the mirror. Also it came without the lanyard somehow and so now I can't adjust the declination. Beware.

This is a nifty compass, with additional features (mirror with sight line to improve precision in navigation, lanyard). I will be using this in teaching my grandson basic orienteering. And, when he masters it, I will purchase another as a gift for him!! Super product!!

Dead nuts accurate easy to use easy to read you can't go wrong. I bought a cheaper compass and it wouldn't even point north. Playing with it I sort of got it to point north but how do you know until comparing it to a real compass. Don't go cheap it's not worth it.

I can hardly turn dial, which makes it hard for training in Search and Rescue in the classroom and in the field .
