I got these sponges for household cleaning. I prefer cellulose sponges over foam, and most cellulose sponges available at retail outlets ore quite small. I received them in a larger box containing other items I had ordered at the same time, and didn't even realize what they were. I thought they were cardboard or paper pamphlets in individual paper wrappers. It turns out they are flattened down to maybe an eighth of an inch to send. The first one I used puffed right up after a few seconds under the faucet, and it is now a normal sponge. It was so entertaining I took a video of it and sent it to my brothers. I guess they are afraid no one would buy them if they looked like the initial state. Good sponges, and don't take much room to store!

Long lasting. Well made. Great for various uses.

Kitchen use

These sponges are very good, only a half-step below excellent. The absorbency is slightly below that of cellulose sponges I have used in the past, but still very good.The size of these sponges are exadtly as described, very good sized for kitchen use.They are rather expensive but still worth the price for good sizws aponges.I will order more if the need arises.

These sponges arrive flat and need to be placed into water to expand. Some of them take longer than others to expand to full size. They are quite absorbent. They are firm, until they decide to break up. I found that if you fold them over to wring them out, they tear over time. This is a drawback to many thick sponges that can be combated by cutting them in half with a scissors or sharp knife (non-serrated).

Great quality and just the right size. Larger than the kitchen sponges but smaller than the car washing sponges. Perfect for cleaning the bathrooms and other rooms

This 5.4 x 3.5 x 1.2 inch, Large Sponge, Kitchen Sponge is the perfect size sponge and the cellulose is high quality. This is exactly the size sponge I can use, not too big and not too small. I particularly like the 1.2" thickness. It absorbs well and rinses easy.
