Purchased this shelf to hold a Sony audio receiver used for ceiling speakers in a garage. This shelf hangs below a wooden shelf with some metal "L" brackets. It's very sturdy and the slots cut into the bottom of it allow air to circulate up and through the audio receiver to keep everything cool. Very satisfied.

Solid build and worked perfectly. The nice part is you can choose lip up or down. The only drawback is that it does not come with 10/32 rack screws. Fortunately I had some extras.

Good Product

I spotted this rack shelf on Amazon and noticed that it was significantly lower priced than other offerings. So I took a chance on it. Turns out to work so well I bought a second one!

Worked great. Fits perfectly

This will do the job. The shelf itself is constructed well. There was one huge drawback. There was a big machining error when I was installing the rails onto the shelf. The two holes were so misaligned on the back end that there was no way I was ever going to be able to connect them. I used a titanium drill bit to expand the hole on the shelf enough for me to be able to thread a screw.For $20.00 I have some managed expectations. But if I didn't have the tools to fix the problem this would have rendered it unusable. However with that one problem resolved I am extremely happy with the product.

I'm very impressed with the sturdiness of this shelf.

As the title says, the item was received bent, and it does not even full fit even if it wasn’t bent. Poorly made. Very little instruction. Buy something else.
