This saber is awesome. I have a more high priced one, glass and more solid metal hilt, but this saber blows it out of the water with the extra capabilities. The lights are very bright and the colors pure. The other incredible thing is the sound, it honestly blew me away how loud it is. My only complaint is the ease of use going through the functions. There is a learning curve and the instructions aren't the easiest but I don't care because it made me, and the whole room geek out. I'll be buying more.

The media could not be loaded. update. honestly. beautiful lightsaber. reminds me of my vader one growing up. the color sound and lighting is good. will update as time goes on. but very satisfied with this saber. unfortunately the bottom rubber is now breaking off. granted we use them almost every day. my sons and i can duel in the yard at nighttime

This is a gorgeous light saber. I've seen my share of knock off cheap sabers and this one might be nicer than some of the licensed models. The instructions are nearly impossible to sort out - the control scheme is awful but the trade off is that the model is nearly identical to the theatrical saber it represents and doesn't have extra buttons. Like another reviewer, I seem to be missing the hardware needed to tighten the blade onto the handle and I'm going to have to go and find my own screws to do that. This is not a deal breaker but it's disappointing.

This is a really cool light saber with sounds and colors. The light saber looks very realistic. After you use the force to figure out how to unmute and change the colors, you will be having a lot of fun with this. The saber would also look good on display.

Luke's white light and Darth's red light are just two of the 12 light colors on this saber. Also has audio recordings of Yoda and others. Loud speaker with volume control. Excellent for dueling. Light saber remains firmly entrenched to the hilt when screws are tightened. Won't fail in battle. Great sounds all from the touch of one button. Lot of technology inside this saber. Several processors. Five Star light saber true and accurate rendition of Star Wars light saber. Update: the more I play with this saber the more I love it. Several authentic recordings from the Star Wars Series. Darth, Yoda, Luke, all the stars voice clips included. Plus the background music. It's so cool! Turns on and off with a flick of the wrist!

Mixed feelings on this one: It looks great, it feels good in the hand, the effects are on par with the competition ~ so why am I not more satisfied? The motion sensor(s) control too much, reminding me of BMW trying to put all of the car controls into just one knob: It may be more cost effective on the manufacturing side but it confounds anybody trying to use it for the first time. This is made worse by all of the buttons that are only decorative that could each have their own function but do nothing but look good.What I like ~• I get to be a kid• This one looks good enough for cosplay within reasonable budgets ~ will look even better with some battle effects airbrushed onto it.What I do not like ~• Until you have all of the motions and settings orders memorized, nearly everything this saber does feels random. Example ~ if blade is currently blue, how many wrist flips are required to reach red?• If you are unable to memorize the settings, the instructions must be kept forever and...• No carrying case ~ The blade detaches but all that does is allow dust to reach the light source. Between the tiny set screws for setting the blade, the blade, and the instructions, it really needs something to assist with storage.• This price point approaches the low end of the next level of sabers that animate the blade.• Removal of the blade requires a tool that does not stow on the saber. I don't like to wear the saber with the blade attached.
