Used for testing pstn phone lines quick easy to use great results

Given I use this for one purpose at work I didn’t need this to be bomb proof. It’s very lightweight and probably wouldn’t stand up to much abuse but the speaker is good and the buttons work well. Would have been nicer with a carry bag as the cables easily snag on stuff in my bag. but you pay for what you get and this works as expected.

nice size fits in tool bag a instruction sheet would be very handy

Cheap as chips, only wanted something to have in the back or the van that I can grab when needed and won’t matter if it gets beaten. Works perfectly

Very poor quality looks and feels like a toy example my hand is bigger than the actual phone, additional connections required to connect to UK telephone sockets. Would be better buying a slim kitchen phone it would definetly last longer.

****review for Telecom Check Telephone***Works fine, if a little plasticy!, but fine for price. Good selection of leads but I had to add a connector for RJ11 end > UK Phone PlugNice and compact for carrying in the kit, great for doing the basic line check, and will show the CLI for incoming calls.

Used to diagnose a fault on a line and prove it was external to my house. Handy little phone that will also be used if we lose power as I only have wireless phones installed

Have yet to test it fully, but for a phone tester being sold in the UK, it should come with a BT Line Jack plug (LJU),as well as a US style RJ11 plug.Instructions are almost non-existent, and the only manual on the web is blocked by Norton's Security as a dangerous site! Not much on YouTube to assist.Construction is flimsy, but with a UK adapter it clearly works as a phone, but the display is minimal and defaults to 2009! Without a manual, no way to see how to change that and use it as a tester.
