This review is being done one day post assembly. For the price, this is a very nice looking, useful and sturdy desk. I like the two file drawers (files go sideways, not front to back in the drawer) and four smaller drawers for my office stuff. This L-shaped desk provides enough top space to accommodate my all-in-one computer and keyboard with extra workspace. I also like the shelf that is under one of the sides of the desk. Good spot for storing extra stuff and for placing my electrical strip. This desk is sturdy weighing a bit over 130 lbs. The laminate appears to be of very high quality. Time will tell regarding durability. You must have patience if you are planning to assemble this desk yourself. There are many parts. Plan on spending a very full afternoon of your time. At first it may seem overwhelming, but you will be rewarded with a very nice desk if you chill out and take it one step at a time. Read the instructions carefully - several times. Really focus on the pictures in the directions as they are quite good. There are separate assembly instructions depending on your decision to have the short leg of the desk on the right or left side. The T-handle allen wrench provided is helpful. The provided screwdriver is inadequate. I used a combination of a regular phillips head screwdriver and a screw bit on a battery powered drill. The fit and finish are very good. All the holes for screws, etc. lined up well. The top and drawers fit together nicely. I highly recommend laying out all the desk pieces in a separate room placing like parts together and then take the parts to the room where you are going to place the desk for the actual assembly. All parts for assembly are labeled well. If you are looking for a low-priced desk that looks and functions well, this desk is a great choice.

This kit has a lot of parts but is easy to figure out. Every thing fit without a lot of trouble and makes a very nice looking and functional desk. One thing I didn't consider when I purchased this unit is u will have to disassemble to move thru a standard door opening. Other than that I love it! The kit arrived with a damaged box but was packed very well and totally protected it! Good customer service after the sale! Mine was missing 1 of the 4 file drawer rods and they sent a whole new set! Worth the price!

I bought this item knowing there were no reviews. I have limited space in my new home office so I had searched and searched for a new desk that I liked and that I thought would be functional for me. My girlfriend and I put this desk together. Everything was labeled and the directions were fairly easy to follow. It took a little longer than expected but luckily my son had a drill bit for an Allan wrench or it would have taken forever to put together. Despite that and with one issue with the shelf (recommend that you don’t screw the shelf into the little brackets along the side of the drawers as it did not allow the tops to sit properly when we did that) the desk is heavy/sturdy, the drawers roll nicely and are aligned and I like the wood grain look the tops have. I am quite pleased and the shelf will give me added storage since I do not have a closet in this office. This desk was worth the money and I should get years of use out of it since it is metal and wood.

Nice desk, sturdy, but OMG, what a pain to put together. By myself, took 2 days. Due to the angle of the corner desk, takes 2 people to move it (I had to move it to put a rug underneath).

WOW! I am a 70 year old female and put a lot of this desk together. My hubby helped with the grid which I appreciated. I used no battery or electric drill.. This was packaged and labeled the best I've ever seen. It made it a lot easier. Now I cannot say the time it took me to complete this because we were having carpet installed and waiting after the install to put the grid pieces together, and some drawers were already done. But I have to say this desk is very sturdy, nothing cheap about it. It was a great price to have something look so beautiful. I am enjoy it! Thanks to HSH for such care in putting your product so effortlessly for customers to follow. I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Great desk! Very sturdy. Took a long time to put together but the directions are good it was just time consuming. I was surprised how nice the draws glide. Definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful desk. Very sturdy and nice. I love the shelf under the short side... It was easy to put together, however I had an operator error. I installed the rails on the drawers on the bottom. They go on the sides. I worked with Jack Ye, and he figured out the error, which I corrected with very little effort. I love my desk. Thank You! Jack! The Company was easy to contact and he answered right away.

This was so perfect to replace the tank of a desk I had before. The drawers fit more than you think. I’m finally organized! My husband put it together with no problems. Note the stickers to cover the holes are the same grain as the desk and hardly noticeable. In the grey. Now the rest of my room!
