Q: Will this work in a 2019 highlander? Description only goes 2018, but images shoe 2019 model year.

I don’t know. It worked in my 2016 Rav4.

Q: I installed it in my 2014 RAV4: It didn't give me any instructions?

Make sure vehicle is turned off, remove SD card from head unit. Install new SD card, start vehicle. You should see a message about updating software. When I did this it was 13 updates, it took about 5 minutes to update software. When completed turn vehicle off and then start engine . If that does not work, would recommend returning SD card, maybe it is defective

Q: what are instllation instructions?

I didn't have any official instructions, but just replaced the SD card while the car was off. Then I turned on the key, and it knew that there card was new. I told it to install the new software, and it said not to turn the car off during the installation process. (I had the key on, but the engine was not running). It took about five minutes, and it was finished.
