I was hesitant because the rivet joint in the arm didn't look like it locked down securely. I am happy to report that there is substantial resistance and it does not flop or move around once you locate it where you want it. There's a wide range of adjustment. The whole assembly can be flipped over so it's pretty limitless on the angles and positions you can achieve. I've got one now in all my vehicles and they're all oriented in different spots.It's very sturdy. It's a solid design and a good hunk of aluminum. I go rock crawling in my truck and use the phone for nav and comms, despite some heavy bouncing and fast bumpy off road, the mount doesn't move around at all. The phone is in an Otterbox Commuter and the magnet held it perfect all day. Great value considering the quality.

This mount has a very good magnet and works well with any magsafe phones or cases. The minimalistic design means it's not in the way of your dash. Very sleek design and a great value.

I have this mount in a horizontal position popping out from behind a touch screen. The arm will loosen after a while. I have to really torque the hand screw tightly to prolong its loosening.The adhesive attached to my car is holding tight after a hot season and a cool season.The magnetic part holding the phone is the perfect strength to hold the phone while allowing release of the phone without excessive effort.

Absolutely love it!!

The mount itself is fantastic it worked great for me and is very sturdy. I even bought one for my boyfriend I liked it so much. I bought a new vehicle and had to change out the sticky pad to place it in my new truck. Well the sticky pad worked for about 6 months and then once it started getting cold the sticky pad no longer worked. The kit came with 2 adhesive pads and I no longer have extra. When my boyfriend first mounted his the adhesive would not stick which I believed it to be the cold. He then used the extra adhesive it came with on a warmer day and got it to stick. Once it got cold again the adhesive failed. It’s a shame because I like the mounts but we are out of adhesive pads and there is no where to buy extra adhesive pads.
