Great budget CAD laptop
These are great laptops. I use them for CAD and CAM programs for work and everything runs pretty smooth with multiple windows open. the 1080 monitor ismt the best but you can't beat the price.

Excellent??? Hmmm...
I chose to try a refurbished laptop for a couple of reasons...some newer products seem to overheat due to lack of adequate cooling despite the additional venting and precautions taken. And I am not a fan of Windows 11...sorry, just too much of a work in progress to suit me. If I purchase something, I expect the manufacturer to have designed and tested it to perform as expected and prevent annoying issues from cropping up...much less expect the customer to buy cooling pads and the like to work around their design issue. So, here's my thoughts on this refurbished laptop... In my opinion to rate an excellent rating it should be "like new". At first glance, this falls short of that because it was obviously used hard and has a number of spots that were covered with silver paint to improve??? it's look. To me that drops it down to at best a "very good" rating. The other thing that keeps me from giving it more than a 3-star rating is the sticky keyboard. I like the feel and overall quality of the backlit keyboard, but there is nothing more annoying than having to go back and edit whatever you're typing due to missing or double letters.Bottom line, I would not buy from Laptop Asset again since this particular laptop does not qualify for an excellent rating. I guess, in general, I would think twice about buying a refurbished laptop unless it was from the manufacturer's site to try to ensure you're getting what you think you're paying for.
