Works like magic! I have a cast iron pan set that was orange from rust. Started using this "eraser" and the rust just rubs away. I've tried salt scrubs and the metal covered sponges along with steel wool. Nothing works like this product. It is a must have for cast iron owners!

This product is amazing. It removed all the rust from many of my expensive knives that went through 2 hurricanes.

This removed the rust on my cast iron skillet. But it left a weird patina on the skillet. I'm sure it's safe to use (I assume) and will go away once I reseason the skillet. But it did remove the rust with a little (read: a lot) of elbow grease! It wasn't super easy and took quite a bit of "erasing," but it worked.

The media could not be loaded. I took a video because I honestly didn't believe it would work. Not only did it work, my pan came out looking like new! And I thought it would take forever but it was SO easy and fast! Literally, it's like a giant eraser and afterwards, there's a bit of a mess as far as the shavings, but it's so worth it - especially for the cost! I thought I was going to have to throw away my cast iron pan but it's like new now. I did mine over my sink but I'd suggest doing it over a garbage can. Don't forget to season it right after!

Didn't remove the rust. Waste of time and money. Couldn't even season skillet after using it.

This product is more difficult to use on iron skillets than brillo pads or steel wool. If you are going to remove all the conditioning from a pan, it is better to just use soap, water and steel wool in combination with powdered scouring soap. The tool is useful for small surfaces like knives and other rust spots. You will consume one bar for one large frying pan (18 inches)

This really works on erasing rust.
