Very sturdy
I am 5'2". I have a hard time reaching things. I had a 3-step ladder, but as I became older, I didn't have the balance to stand on the top step. So, I was using only 2 steps. This 4-step ladder is sturdy, safe, and easy to climb on. The step rungs are wide and have a non-slip surface. I can climb up 3 steps and even have a 4th step to place items on. And the top hand rail is tall enough to get a good grip on. My husband has no trouble standing on the top (4th) step.The only draw back I see is it is a bit heavy. I can manage it, but it weighs a bit. I guess that's what makes it so sturdy.

Four step
Very nice ladder easy to use stable just don’t miss that last step LOL. Had a three step prior needed one more step to reach the plants. Perfect I really enjoy the easy fold and lightweight easy to get around the house.

Sturdy with large steps
This is a wonderfully sturdy ladder. I love the wide steps. It makes me feel safe. It folds up easily and also the locking mechanism keeps it safe from folding up while you are on it. It is not heavy and I am an old lady. I can easily carry it and set it up. The feet are large enough and don't slide all over. I can't say enough about this ladder.
