Car gets really hot! UPDATE...Received new track
My grandson (with autism) really likes this car/track. The only problem we have is that the car/batteries gets really hot like to hot to touch. Car doesn't even have to run but just a couple minutes before it is to hot for my grandson to touch. Probably going to have to return it.UPDATE....Received new track and everything works like it should and car does not get hot with the new track. The company's customer service is TOP NOTCH!! Very friendly they kept in touch to make sure I got the new track and my grandson was happy. They work to make sure everything is taken care of.

entertains for hours
My grandsons favorite toy. He's 6 years old and autistic and watches it run for hours. Be prepared to buy lots of batteries.

i guess it's worth it
i'm reluctantly giving this a high rating. i think it's not the best value compared to other kits and making the cars do loop-de-loops require some extra items you'll have to find around the house but the reason why this kit is better than average is:1. the tracks are already semi assembled in groups of four. so that makes putting the track together 4x less painful, less time consuming, etc. very smart of them! because these tracks can be a bit of a click together. other kits we've gotten have each track part separated so that's 4x more work. and kids cannot do this on their own under the age of 8. expect that you, an adult, will be assembling these tracks.2. the track is very glowy and the car adds to that. it's a beautiful effect. well done. they nailed this.3. the car is pretty fast. wish i could adjust it to be different speeds. also, i think i prefer the charging more than replacing batteries as long as the chargeable situation lasts a good amount of time. but i hate feeling like i have half used batteries in an engine. better to charge it up to 100% at the end of play.i wish the price were a little lower and the tracks could be self assembled by the kid. perhaps if they had like a assembly tool a kid could use, that would be perfect.

Quite disappointing
This is a great concept… my son loves it, however the power requirements for the car are so high that it wears batteries out in minutes. In a 24 hour period we went through 3 packages of batteries. We gave up on playing with it after 3 days. But it has the potential to be a great toy.

rfly tracks are broken and her hurt when you assemble them.
Very dangerous the car caught my child's kept winding, some of the butterfly tracks broke and were also hard to snap for some, the car is really fast and spins and spins, upon setting it up for Christmas the kids were excited the tracks glow when the car is tracks , child pick car caught hair kept spinning it was horrifying

UPDATE: Cool concept poor execution AMAZING customer service
This toy is very cheaply made and the batteries die quickly. attaching it onto the track is annoying in itself and one little hiccup on the track the ship gets stuck.UPDATE( a must read!) : the review about the toy quality Remains the Same but as for customer service I must say it is a 10 out of 10!! Customer service reached out to me very quickly about their defective toy and not only did they FULLY refund me what I paid for, they also sent me new products from their store to give a try! They went above and beyond what I would have expected and I really appreciate them for taking the time to listen to their customers and fix any issues that we experience! I thank you again USA TOYS for the replacement gifts 🎁

Fun concept but poor battery life
The track is easier to snap if you follow the direction and connect on an angle first. Even still, its too difficult for a young child. My 4 year old son LOVES this track. It glows in the dark, can make cool configurations and the car goes really fast. We are returning because the battery life to get it to go on any pathway other than a simple bump free circle is less than a day. With new batteries it can go up the wall, on its side and even upside down (with a nudge). After a few runs, it looses steam. He seems to enjoy the circle, but we don't want to keep replacing batteries and bought it for more than a simple circle pathway. You also need at least 160-200 pieces to make this worthwhile.
