Not EXACTLY as advertised
First let me say I didn't even install this product and I am sending it back. The title of this product includes the statement "...PC Front Panel Type-C USB 3.1 USB ..."I ASSumed that since it had a Type C connector and the title specified Type-C USB 3.1 USB, that it connected to the 3.1 USB header on my motherboard. This is NOT correct, there is no connection to the 3.1 USB header. It Seems, to use the 3.0 USB connector for the 3.1 USB type C connector. meaning the the 3.1 type C connector on the product, is always running in backward compatibility with a 3.0 USB. This means that the 3.1 is running at half the speed it should, based on the theoretical speeds of 5 Gbit/s for the 3.0 and 10Gbit/s for the 3.1.

Very Misleading TYPE C 3.1 RUNS VERY SLOW AT 31.2mbps
The 3.1 type C connector piggybacks off the 19 pin USB 3.1 connector so you'd expect a least 10gbps. Not the 3`.1mbps I got.

Works Great - Product Description is Lacking
I bought the “DoCooler Sunshine-Tipway” card reader to replace an older SD card reader interface that could not read SDHC memory cards. If you read the product description closely, you will not see “SDHC” listed. Instead, you’ll see “CF MD XD MMC TF M2 MS and many more card formats.” “SD/MMC” is shown on the faceplate in the product photos, but nothing to definitively state support for SDHC. Since SDHC standard has been around for over 10 years, I reasoned that it was probably supported and … I was right. To help others, I have posted a photo of the instructions, which lists the supported card formats.I have entered the list here to make them searchable.1. CF/CFII/MD2. XD3. TF/Micro SD4. MD/MS Series Cards5. SD/MMC/SDHC/SDXD/Mini SD6. MS7. eSATA8. USB 3.09. USB 3.0 Type CAs you can see in the photos here and in the product description, cables *are* included. The product description only lists “1 x Internal Card Reader, 4 x Screws and 1x User Manual (English, Chinese). So, buyers are left to wonder. One drawback is the unit does not align other installed units. This allows air and dust to enter the chassis. So that’s why I only gave this 4 stars. (See photos.)You can see “STW-3125” on the circuit board. I guess that stands for “Sunshine-Tip Way” 3125. Such an odd name for a product! I wonder what the story is there.Oh well. It’s a pretty good product, but they sure make it hard on prospective buyers!

It works but....
It was easy to install and seems to be working just fine, but the slots are set back far enough from the faceplate that smaller SD cards can just slip through the crack if you are not real careful how you insert it. Then you get to take the reader back out and try to find your micro SD card.
