Works as advertised
This product does a fabulous job of running 2 (duel) monitors. However, if you are wanting to run more than 2, say 4 as I did, please read on…….I purchased this product in order to correct an issue I was having with my HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 Docking Station. I wanted to run 4 HP monitors, two 27” & two 24”. Unfortunately there are only two Presentation ports & one USB C port, no HDMI ports. I purchased the USB C to Dual HDMI 4K adapter, using it for the 27” monitors in order to get the best picture & resolution from them.Needless to say I got them to work, but it’s a struggle keeping them connected after a reboot. I also have a problem with my laptop (HP Z Book) overheating, which is a concern given the horsepower it has. But, running the four monitors is a lot.

Works on Huawei Matebook X Pro where many dual display adapters fail!
I am pleased by the durability and ease of use of this little dual hdmi adapter. The Huawei Matebook X Pro which I just bought and love, has two usb-c ports, one of which is thunderbolt 3. The computer is picky about what thunderbolt docks it will work with for two displays using HDMI. This little adapter works on BOTH PORTS with zero issues because its using a DisplayPort Alternate mode standard to do its job. Way more versatile than an adapter that would hog my lone thunderbolt 3 port.Highly recommended for users who dont have usb-c, but not thunderbolt 3 port, or simply are like me and want the ease of connecting two hdmi devices without their being wierd issues. Worked better than a $110 dual hdmi dock, which only would run one of the hdmi monitors at a time.

This USB connector works as descibed
I am quite pleased with this USB-C connetion.I use it for EXTENDING two 24" displays. It connects to the back of my ThinkPad, so it is out of the way, and does not use one of my standard USB ports, which are limited on my laptop. The price was good. The flexible cabel is also nice, so it can accomodate my two HDMI cable inputs to my two HP monitors. The quality of displays is clear and bright. My setup in the photo is a 17" laptop with one 24" monitor on each side.It is a great alternative to the standard USB connector, which i bought originally from Best Buy and then returned after i received this one.Regards from a happy user... Just What I Needed
I recently purchased a new laptop that only has USB-C ports (Dell XPS13 Developer Edition, Linux distribution), but I also had two external monitors (also recently purchased) that I wanted to extend the screen of my laptop. I had purchased another HDMI splitter (OREI HD-102) which worked on my old laptop, but only duplicated the screen. This adapter, the CableCreation USB-C to dual HDMI, is exactly what I needed. It worked out of the box. As I need other USB-C to "whatever" adapters, I'll look for CableCreation products. I'll also update this review in the future if my evaluation changes, but it's been working fine for three weeks without a hitch.

Good USB-C Splitter
A decent quality USB-C splitter. I picked up two similar splitters from the same company, this one was dual HDMI splitters (the other was HDMI/VGA) and both worked right out of the box. I've used it for a couple of briefings and while at home plugged into two external monitors and have had good results for a reasonable cost. The item does what it advertised to do - so no real complaints and I'd recommend it to coworkers if they needed something like this.I only had two issues, which aren't show stoppers by any means: 1) depending on which HDMI plug you use first - the screens switch...this is kind of a windows/display setting thing - but I've found that if I restart my laptop, the screen switch sometimes based on some unknown reason - not a bid deal, I can adjust in display setting or simply change the cables around - but it's a strange hiccup; and 2) the colors and screen intensity seem to shift occasionally. For whatever reason the contrast kind of ebbs and flows with one or the other screen getting brighter, sharper or slightly different color/hue...again, only occasionally and gradually so it's really only noticeable if you step away for a moment. If I only use one HDMI connection I don't notice any of these changes and i didn't notice it on the other splitter. ...again, not a showstopper.

It works! Kinda
I have a Mac 21” 2019 work computer. This piece stated that it will not work to extend 2 extra screens. I needed it to that but it will not work if you connect both hdmi to it. I had A single adapter so i plugged each one of them in separate ports and IT WORKED!!!! I just Knew there was no way a Mac cost that much money and I couldn’t extend the screens. Just plug them in separately (one in each thunderbolt)

Stopped working after a week of use
The adapter seems to be constructed with solid materials, and it worked fine for a week but then it just stopped working, I have a new Windows 10 Lenovo P1 gen4 workstation, and when I connect the adapter is recognized but no image is sent to the HDMI. At the beginning I noticed that the video card was complaining about some features disabled because of a connected HDMI repeater but nothing else

wasn't sure how USB-C would handle video signal
This was the first time using a USB-C connector for HDMI dual monitor setup. The adapter doesn't feel cheap and works without any significant configuration. Plug and play in the truest sense of the term. Had a dual monitor setup within 10 minutes of opening everything. Would highly recommend, especially for the price (great value)
