I got my window fix, and it really works.

I was upside down painting this metaic paint as perfect as I could get it. And the paint worked once and stopped. It's over priced and snake oil. I ended up taping a t pin over the break in the line with some super glue and a small piece of tape. There is a little square there but small enough not really noticable. And the defrost works. Very important.

The tape provided is right at 0.005". A slightly thick tape would be better, 0.007". Also, the product is easily removed even past 24 hrs. Had to reapply but am afraid that the next window cleaning will remove the product again. Going to try copper foil tape.

It may help for a small small repairs like 5 mm but other than that I do not recommend ir

I ordered this for my restoration project. Especially since I had to scrape off old window tint. That said this arrived on time and as described. The kit is easy to use and within a couple of minutes you have a line repaired and looking good as new. I'm pleased with it and recommend it.

Do not buy! There wasn't enough of the paint in the bottle to properly do one 3" break in the heater wire.No Good

I have used a similar product with great success. No local auto parts store near me stocks ANY type of repair kits, so I was forced to order. Found this product on AMAZON, price better than others, so I figured to give it a try.Followed directions to the "T". The paint is too chunky, no matter how much stirring or shaking helped! When used the included "spreading" tool as directed, almost half of the paint would come off, especially at the break!!!I had 2 areas of a break (the other was smaller. Masked spot, applied the paint using a DAB technique to apply, DID NOT smooth, removed the masking, then just left alone for 3 days. 3rd day needed defogger, turned on and NEITHER repaired line worked!!!Later that afternoon I checked the repairs to see if I missed something. The instructions "claims" you can clean repair spot with a alcohol pad once paint is dry. I did this, and the conductive paint came right off the repaired area!!!

I was very pleased when I was able to basically re-glue the cable back onto the glass. I know it's not primarily meant for this but I gave it a shot and it worked. I didn't want to test how well it was stuck on but I did give it a little wiggle and it felt solid.
