It's a big ultrasonic cleaner and it needs a lot of water. I have found it best (for my purposes) to fill it with boiling water and set the appropriate temperature, as using cold water it takes a long time to get that much water up to temp. Power cable plugs in on the back, where there is a large ON/OFF switch. Connect up and switch then on the front panel use the UP and DOWN buttons to set temperature then press 'TEMP', blue led lights up, LED display shows SET temperature and ACTUAL temperature. Once up to the desired temperature, add the items to be cleaned in the wire basket and set the time required. LED display shows time countdown. Note, temperature will continue to rise until you switch off the 'TEMP'. Being ultrasonic it does make a noise. Would recommend you get ultrasonic cleaner baskets for the smaller items to prevent contact with the cleaner surface. There's a tap on the right hand side to drain out the dirty water. It does have a threaded connection so it should be possible to make up a drain hose. I have to move mine on the kitchen worktop to the sink draining board to empty it. A drain hose would be more convenient, but not essential. A useful bit of kit.

This is great ! But don't have it on too long as it changes the appearance of the metal on the object you are cleaning..... Unlike others at same litreage this model as greater internal capacity !
