My 4-Day Journey with the KOORUI G2711P
1.First ImpressionsBought it for $159.99 during Amazon's "Back to School" sale. The IPS screen looked brighter than my old TN panel right out of the box. Set up took 10 minutes - HDMI to Xbox, DP to PC.2.Gaming Wins & QuirksPlaying VALORANT as a Bronze 3 Reyna main:• 200Hz makes tracking Raze's grenade arcs easier• Ghosting almost gone when quick-scoping with Marshal• HDR400 helps spot enemies in Breeze's bright areas• Bottom edge has slight backlight bleed (only noticeable in dark maps)3.Surprise Office Perks• Text looks crisp when writing reports (better than my 27" 1440p work monitor somehow)• The height-adjustable stand saved my neck during 6-hour Zoom marathons• Built-in crosshair overlay accidentally helped align Excel cells4.Would I Recommend? If you need one screen for Valorant grind and WFH, it's a solid pick. Just don't expect premium HDR - I keep that turned off anyway.

Great value, with unadvertised functionality
The media could not be loaded. I ordered four of the GN05 27" 1440p 240Hz monitors, and two of them have arrived. After a day of setup and testing, I'm extremely impressed with the quality given the bargain bin pricing.First of all, these come with displayport cords, which I assumed was not the case. Second, they are actually capable of 4k (3840x2160) and drive that picture flawlessly. The only drawback is that they will only go 60Hz at that resolution. However, at the native 2560 x 1440 resolution, they run at 240Hz as advertised. In my attached photo, I have two of these set up below a Samsung - 27” Odyssey FHD IPS 1080p 240Hz G-Sync Gaming Monitor. Samsung is known as a premium panel manufacturer, so I figured it'd be a great side-by-side comparison. These KOORUI panels are virtually indistinguishable in quality and color, at least to my eye. And interestingly, the Samsung panel will only refresh at 239.76Hz, while the KOORUI panels refresh at a true 240Hz (when set at 1440p or below). The color gamut and HDR on these KOORUI panels are fantastic, just as good as the Samsung. No dead pixels or light leaking. Packaging was premium, shipping box was damaged to heck but the monitors and their boxes were fine thanks to all that styrofoam.Drawbacks: I don't think the response time is truly 1ms, likely closer to 5ms. However, I can only notice this when running the testufo dot com MPRT test in full screen on both the Samsung IPS and KOORUI VA at the same time. I don't notice it in game at all. I've attached a video of this. Color/Black difference is because I was messing with the monitor's on board settings at the time, they're much closer to one another in quality than this video seems to show.Viewing angle is definitely worse on the VA than the IPS, as expected. However, I don't often use my computer while severely angled from my screens, and I can only notice the poor VA viewing angle when I get way to the side.Only other drawback I can think of is that if one of these develops issues in the future, it's unknown how well KOORUI support will handle it, or if they'll even exist. I'd worry about this if they were much more expensive, but at $200 a pop I'd consider them worth it even if one of them dies prematurely and needs replaced. Monitors from Samsung with these specs easily go for double or triple the price. Conclusion: Fantastic value. I'd say order these and make sure you setup and test during Amazon's return window. If you find any issues in those first 30 days, you're guaranteed good support. If something happens after that, you may also get help from KOORUI, but even if not...you saved enough money to replace it.

Lightweight monitor with excellent picture quality
I can only use this monitor at 144Hz since I'm using it via HDMI (no graphics card), but I used my laptop's DisplayPort USB-C connection to verify that it does have 240Hz capability for when I do get my graphics card in the future. The picture quality on this is insane. It's much better than my older Dell monitor with the exact same specs from a few years ago.The control system is also very intuitive. There are several options to enable variable refresh rate (also known as G-sync, I believe), toggle brightness and contrast, change color settings, and even add custom crosshair overlays on the monitor itself. This monitor is advertised as 1ms latency, and while I can't see this with my bare eyes, there is a function in the monitor's settings to increase its response time from "normal" to "fastest". This monitor supports HDR, scenario mode, and automatic scenario switching. While there is supposed to be a "volume" control, I haven't found a way to activate any internal speakers and don't believe there is a speaker in this monitor. Regardless, I have my own speaker. This monitor definitely isn't OLED (it's fast-IPS), but its HDR quality can compete with OLED since everything appears well-defined on it.The one thing I have to say bad about this monitor is it's hard to adjust. There is no way to turn it or increase its height. However, it's positioned at the optimal angle and setup for me, so I don't have to worry about that. I'd say this is a great monitor still! The specs are perfect for gaming, and the price is good for a general-use monitor.I don't immediately plan on playing games on this monitor, but probably will in the future so it's good to have the extra refresh rate and 1440p resolution. This feels very similar, if not better than, my brother's 144Hz LG monitor which cost more than this, so there's no real reason to choose another monitor. 27" is extra large (at least for me), but it's a good size if you don't plan on having anything else on your desk.
