Super fast 5g cellular
I wasn’t familiar with this manufacturer but the tablet is amazingly fast using 5g cellular network even with VPN. I gave it a Google Fi voice/data SIM card and tablet phone works great with Bluetooth or USB-C headset. I mostly use cloud applications with my nfc security key and this has become my favorite workhorse tablet. I like to rest this tablet on table or car seat because it’s heavy but that is acceptable because it lasts several days for me without a charge and is built so rugged. I didn’t buy it for the cameras but they are crisp and sharp (the night vision image quality is also amazing). This 5g version is a great tablet.

2024 iPad 11inch M4 or this tablet?
The media could not be loaded. I own the new iPad 11 inch M4 and I bought this tablet after my dad had bought it on sale. This thing is amazing for the price. The battery life lasts way way way way longer than my new iPad. This tablet is much heavier because of the giant battery inside of it but wow I love the giant battery it’s incredible. The touch screen is not as smooth as the my new iPad but for the price it’s amazing!!! This tablet has a good picture for watching movies or YouTube and it’s a must if you are looking to buy a tablet for a kid. I cannot recommend this tablet enough for the price!!! ITS A MUST BUY!!!! I will be using this tablet to play soft top darts on GranBoard and this will be one of the main uses for it. Other reviews stated that their Tablet does not play certain videos but in our experience our tablets have been able to play everything in perfect quality. Hope this review helps! :)

Beast of a tablet
I am using this tablet as my phone. I've had it for almost three months now. It is heavy but feels really solidly built. I've had no problems with it. The sound quality for calls is great. The speed is great. My only wish is that it had a stylus. I would 100% recommend this tablet and would feel comfortable buying other products from this company.

WARNING: Does not support Netflix/Amazon/etc HD video!!
To my dismay, Netflix will NOT work correctly on this tablet, which is the only reason I bought it.Inside Netflix app, Playback specifications-> Maximum Resolution: SDThis means you cannot watch HD video. 1080p etc WILL NOT WORK.The reason is because it says this: Digital Rights Management -> Widevine: L3For Netflix, Amazon, etc to stream HD video, it requires Widevine L1 support. This tablet only has L3 support. HD video will not work.VENDOR: Please fix this asap! Release an update so HD video works please!! I will increase my rating stars if you can fox this.

It's less than you think
I've had the Oukitel RT7 G5 for almost 2 months. Beyond the +'s you'll see with most descriptions, nobody mentions the things that just kill me as a user and for which I would NOT have purchased this tablet had I known. First, I'll admit that I'm coming from a UNIX & Mac background and this is my first Android tablet.1. There is no video out, like to an external monitor. I've purchased several USB-C to HDMI adapters to no avail. There is no control setting anywhere in the RT7 hinting at video out capability. What was I thinking I would get in 2024? What were the designers thinking?2. The RT7 (with Android 13) only supports FAT32 format for both internal and external storage. This is a MAJOR gut punch and aggravation for me, coming from a Mac and what I apparently take for granted. Having to prostrate myself to the ancient format limitations of FAT32 on any external drive or SD card I want to use makes me ...think very dark thoughts. My backups and travel SSD's, with thousands of movies, documents and music directories, are effectively useless and too odious to restructure. Placing the "wrong" file or directory on a previously accepted card or drive makes it now unreadable by the RT7 and it then only prompts for a reformat, negating hours of load time. Is this REALLY what DOS and Android users accept as normal? Unbelievable!3. Documentation or support? HA, ha, ha! That would be an idea! Maybe someday, but here in early 2024 nowhere can I find anything to corroborate or explain the limits or (non)capabilities I find using this tablet. The idea "User's Manual" keeps creeping into my lizard brain, but no, you're on your own figuring this one out.4. The screen is not bright. Outside, it is hard to see and evermore so in brighter light. In direct sunlight, without a shade, I would say practically useless. I knew 400 nits was not a lot and was not surprised, but a brighter screen would've made this tablet so much more useful in a cockpit as a chart plotter (one of the reasons for my purchase).5. Face recognition works when it wants to and does not the rest of the time, even having reset it several times. I've discovered that if I slowly swing my head and eyes around to face the camera while at the same time making wierd shapes with my lips and flexing my eyebrows..., it works sometimes. Obviously, when I'm in public I use my key-code.6. The on-off button. Another shortcoming. It's a hair trigger and sticks out far enough that I'm repeatedly depressing it and turning off the tablet by accident. The single USB-C/charge cable is on the opposite side of the volume/power buttons so if it is in vertical/portrait orientation the buttons are necessarily at the bottom and get easily pressed. When horizontal the buttons are exactly where you naturally hold or pick up the tablet. Pressed again. The designers could've required the off-button to be depressed for a few seconds before turning off, mitigating this problem, but they didn't. ...I plan to glue a rubber O-ring or small collar of some sort to protect the on/off button somehow. If this works I'll sell the idea for a lot of money and retire.I do like the large battery, though I have yet to challenge TSA. I'll use it for days sometimes and have never dropped below 75% charge - perfect for long sailing/camping/traveling trips. I do like the kick-stand and ruggedness and, oddly, I also like the weight - it doesn't get knocked over any easier than a brick would. I'm comforted having access to multiple satellite tracking systems beyond just GPS. The RT7 wasn't too expensive at just over $400. The (3) cameras qualities are OK, but not great.I think this is an OK tablet, but not great. It could've been so much better but the FAT32 and video output issues are the real burrs in my ass and make me hate this tablet. The battery and robust build are its strengths.Addendum: Now that I've had this tablet for 4 months I just want to underscore how much I hate being abused by FAT32. I have lost SOOOoooo.... much data and time trying to recover that data, and "hate" is not the only 4-letter word I'm thinking of. Android, Oukitel & FAT32 are such a losing combination. Why did I do this to myself? Seriously, I feel sick to my stomach.
