Smaller than I envisaged but I managed to roll 50m of dual webbed tourcat onto this quite snugly and with no drama. Need to carefully punch a couple of CAT5 neutrik sockets into the drum sides to make connections easier but that can wait for a dry day! Well made and very strong, totally happy bunny...

Good looking, good product, HOWEVER it broke my wire. I wound the LAN cable (which had been approved in a question ) around it as best I could as there were no instructions. When I came to un reel it I saw a cut in half twisted wire end sticking out.

As a rental company we have dozens of cable reels that all function perfectly. We bought 3 of these for new CAT6 cables going on a show. The design seems to be flawed unless we are overlooking the obvious. If you attach the free end into the clips, as on other reels, then the drum can't move. If you leave the free end loose then it spins around, twists and would destroy the cable, if we were to do it. Any suggestions anyone?! Can't seem to give no stars!!! About to email Stageline for some answers.
