Julep Eyeshadow 101 Pro Powder Palette -Turmeric Latte - 7 Shade Matte & Shimmer Eyeshadows - Great for travel- Blendable & Buildable Eye Makeup Palette

These are very bendable and not too powdery. The mattes are nice and blend with each other well but they do need some primer. The shimmers are really the standouts and they have a very buttery texture. A lot of these shades are very similar to the Urban Decay Honey palette and some shades in the Colourpop Oh Honey palette. If you already have those, you won't need this one. If you don't have anything like it, it's worth picking up. A lot of people shy away from turmeric or mustard yellow shades but they are quite pretty and flattering on a lot of skin tones. You can make a really nice grungy fall look with these shades.

This is a very nice palette overall. Love that it's named after my favorite drink, so I had to try it. Color payoff and wear are pretty good, though I've encountered better for the price. From a subjective perspective (not influencing my rating!) the shades are just not great on me. The more golden and brown colors work well, but the yellows/oranges don't, and I'm not entirely sure what skin tone they would be best on. I'm sure they would work great on someone, though! The design of the palette is very cute and I appreciate that it snaps shut properly. So many higher end palettes just close with a magnet which easily comes undone in a makeup bag and damages them! I don't understand it; this is better.

First, this palette is a good size, and has a nice sized mirror inside. Still a good size to carry with you and travel with. I absolutely love every color in this palette, the palette has a plastic snap closure. The matte shades are really pigmented, always a plus, colors go on smooth without a ton of fallout, the shimmer went on smoothly as well and none looked patchy. All shades had good staying power as well. I have dry, sensitive skin and had no redness, breakouts, or any other negative reactions while applying, or at the end of the day after taking off.Overall, good pigmentation, blends easily, love the color palette, and with that, I would recommend.

I like the assortment of colors. But they flake off and get in your eyes. Also the pigment is not as strong it should be.

This palette is definitely of great quality. It is highly pigmented,and the colors are rich and vibrant. It blends effortlessly. The color palette has earthy colors,that are fun to mix and match to come up with different looks,and they make my blue eyes pop. The color lasts until you remove it. No fading or wearing off during the day. The mirror on the palette is very nice as well. I love the compact size,and it fits perfectly in my makeup case. These colors are PERFECT for fall.

This is the perfect warm neutral palette for fall. I love the mattes, everything in this palette is very pigmented and blends and layers nice for me, but the shimmers are gorgeous and my favorite. A couple of the mattes are pretty close in color, but they are not the same. There's enough in here to do a light daytime look or a more dramatic smokey eye. It blends easily, the compact is cute and seems like it would protect the shadows well in a bag, and I like that it has a nice large mirror in it.

In my pic I show each color dry and wet. You can't really see the top 2 colors on my skin tone though.I like most of the colors and they look nice with my eye color, especially the 2 shimmers, but I wasn't wowed with this palette, especially for the price if im being completely honest.There's nothing really wrong with it but the color payoff for the price just didn't do it for me.If you find these particular colors work great on you and you can afford it, go for it!

Although I definitely prefer the matte shades, the sparkly shades shimmer beautifully, which makes this nice for someone who loves both. The colors are gorgeous and stay put fairly well, especially with primer. This is an AMAZING set. Exceptional quality for the price!! Don’t hesitate!
