Nong Shim Instant Noodles, Veggie Ramyun, Mild, (20 Packs of 112 g)

Had Nongshim noodles before, the one that comes in dark red packaging.This is still spicy and peppery, but only about half the strength of that other Nongshim. Still packs a punch, if you don't like spicy this'll be too much for you. It certainly isn't "mild".This is one of, if not the best brand when it comes to instant ramen. Thick and chewy, the broth tasty. Comes with a small sachet of dried vegetables, nothing substantial. You could add green beans, mushrooms or meat etc. Cooking time is around 4 minutes so if you're feeling lazy, crack an egg into the pan and you'll have ramen with poached egg. Yum!

I've always been a big fan of ramen and was slightly gutted, upon going vegan, to discover that most brands contain animal products.I used to eat the Nissin ramen a lot (I actually found NongShim's regular ramen to be too spicy for me to eat regularly, and I *love* hot food) and found this entirely by chance when I searched "vegan ramen" in desperation.It's really good! There's a little kick of heat to it (not much, but enough to notice) but the broth base has the kind of flavour that you could genuinely add any toppings to and it'd taste good. The noodles are thick and not remotely cheap-feeling, they have a good amount of chewniess to them (something Nissin's ramen always lacked tbh) and you get a decent sized portion out of a pack. It's a little on the pricey side (about 90p a pack compared to Nissin's 40-odd) but tbh I'm happy to pay the extra for the assurance of Vegan Society approval and the increase in quality.I am one happy veggie! I can eat ramen again! :D

Love this stuff. Tastes amazing and it's really quick to make. I was looking for a replacement for the other flavour (red packet) and these are a great vegan option. I wish there was a spicy version though. Regardless I'd definitely buy again. I've tried many brands of these noodles and this is my favourite one.

I remember buying this same brand but in the cups, and for some reason they weren't as hot as these packets. Still, the flavour is really nice. The ramen has a chewy texture that goes well with the soup.If you're not afraid of spicy things, definitely give these a go. One of my top favourite ramen brands for sure.

Excellent product for any vegans looking for vegan ramen. The flavor is excellent and you can add things like vegan dumplings etc to make it more gourmet and filling. Love that it is certified by the Vegan Society

These are fabulous. Don’t let “mild” deceive you, there’s definitely a spicy kick. And don’t complain about the price either - there’s a great filling lunch here, for less than £1.I bought 20 in July, and here I am in Novenber buying 20 more.

Just received them, 20 packs, today (20.6.2022) and I will have to finish them all within two and a half months *roll eyes*

These are the best vegan ramen noodles available. Super tasty and flavoursome and a bargain for the price. If you like them spicy you can use the whole spice sachet that is included, or you can use less if you like a milder flavour. They really are a substantial pack of noodles.
