Very heavy duty, bolt sketches me out, and hose clamps sturdy but I hate em
Well grin tech makes a lot of quality stuff. This thing is pretty up to snuff. It came pretty snug to my axle, though I am not sure of the exact science behind torque arms because it's not exactly a perfect fit up and down, it's a "universal"Installation was difficult with the hose clamps. I decided to cut them shorter which was a big mistake. I was sweating like crazy, grunting because of this little fateful decision, don't do what I did. The shrink wrap didn't stay, I wouldn't put it on thereI am little sketched out by the bolt and lock nut that holds it all together I used an 11mm socket and 7/16 wrench which comes out to roughly 11.10 mm. It's all that I had but it worked. I am not sure how this bolt is going to not slide. I want to get a tac from a welder on that bolt.Other than that it seems really high quality steel. I just have to pray to God my flat prevention plan (FPP) is going to be solid because I just got 7 flats in a row on the motor wheel and I can't get another one without going balastic. So just so ya know if you have more than one of these it's a pain in the ass to get the wheel off! Try patching a flat with the motor on! 😂Just crossing my fingers hoping this thing keeps my wheel in

Fits and works as advertised
It fits and works exactly like it is supposed to. I think it is too expensive for the little bit of stainless steel you get but it actually does what it is supposed to. I'm sure the sting of the price will fade in time but this thing looks like it will last forever.

Torque arms that really work, and fit the axle.
If you are building an E-bike these are the torque arms you want. They are nice and thick, are well made and fit snugly on the hubmotor axle.I've tried others and most were loose on the axle. These torque arms work well, just order the correct ones, front or rear and enjoy your E-bike without having to worry about the axle twisting out.Tip, make sure you preload it against the rotation of the axle and use thread locker.Yes I do reccomend these torque arms!

solid steel, bad but and bolt
don't even bother using the bolt and nut provided. as with many other reviewers here, the bolt and nut don't match? and in trying to remove the nut, I broke the bolt. trip to the hardware store it is. everything else in the kit is solid.

Great torque arm with one flaw
Awesome torque arm, well built. Only flaw is the small screw and lock nut have stripped out during install on every one I've bought. Had to go to the hardware store for a quality bolt and nut. plan on spending a few extra bucks on that.Otherwise super solid!

The design is bad and doesn't fit the bike front wheel.
Terrible bolts and nuts. The design needs to be better and fit the bike's front wheel.

Grin makes the best stuff.
I would maybe use some cheap eBay torque arms for a tame e-bike build. If you're like me and like acceleration and speed, and then realize that your front wheel walking away means you'll scare children for the rest of your life, maybe pay for quality and safety. Especially with front hubs.Grin also have many tutorials available online that you'll find helpful, amd they always respond to e-mail questions regarding their products' use.If you have a steel fork with a fender eyelet you may want to look at the V2, because the install is much cleaner with no hose clamps.
