I bought it in a very confused state, my laptop doesn't have support for 5ghz, it has inbuilt Wi-Fi but don't support 5Ghz so I bought this in a confused state in a "just have it a try" mindset, u guys won't believe me it works really well, speed in good, it works in full speed that my Wi-Fi router totally has, it has 150Mbps of speed under 5ghz and 50mbps of speed under 2.4 ghz, whereas on my speed test on 5ghz it's 153 mbps of⬇️ speed and 160 of ⬆️ speed, these speed results are usual when I try it in my phone and got the same result on this USB adapter as wellAt first for 30-40 mins i was very confused how to configure, and I was like "here's my money lost again😓"After that I found a way to configure while I chkd in device managerFor configuration you need to1. Plug it just like you'll plug your pendrive2. Open "This PC" or "my computer"3. You'll find your USB device which u plugged in just like when you used to insert a pendrive4. Double click the USB source,5. Click yes and install6. Boom there you go7. You're ready to go and u can connect WiFi to itVery important ⚠️If your laptop has a built in Wi-Fi and you bought it just to use it instead of inbuilt or if you bought it that your laptop don't support 5Ghz (same reason that i bought)You'll find "wifi" and "WiFi 2"(wifi 2 is your USB adapter)So u need to keep your inbuilt wifi off whenever you use this USB adapter, because it will create a traffic, and speed may affect(USB adapter will not be able to work in it's full potential if u use your inbuilt wifi and adaptor's wifi at a time) and also your laptop will also cause heating issues, so better when u plug it and use this USB wifi adaptor, keep in mind that u should consider turning off your laptop/computer's inbuilt wifi,So yeah that was a pretty lengthy review 😂

other than going through a bit of trouble just once to set it up on Linux, it's been working pretty fine

Great adpater with amazing speed, definitely boosts the range by a lot.Quick note for Kali Linux users: It does support Monitor mode and Packet Injection but doesn't support VIF(Virtual Interface).Hence, Airgeddon and Fluxion doesn't work with this adapter.Although laptop users can use their inbuilt Wifi card along with this adapter to achieve the same results with Fluxion.
