Reusable Coffee Capsules, Compatible with Essse Caffe S.12 St Machine - Refillable Stainless Steel Pods

COFFEE FLOWS BETTER USING THE STAINLESS-STEEL CAPULE THAN USING THE PREMADE CAPSULES.

While the machine work is beautiful, the R&D behind this device seems nonexistent. My first attempt was with Illy ground espresso. The espresso was watery. It could not be tamped as the grind didn't allow for it. Next I ground some of my best espresso with my Nuova Simonelli grinder. This is what I use with my 20-year-old ECM Giotto. I filled the capsule to the line and tamped it. I placed it in the machine and barely any coffee would flow through the capsule. I repeated tamping very lightly and again very little coffee would flow through the capsule. Tamping cannot work for this machine; and I think it's ridiculous they include a tamper. These machines are not designed to reach the pressure of a professional Espresso machine. Furthermore, anyone who knows Espresso understands that if you tamp, you subsequently handle the portafilter gently so that you do not create a fracture. Their capsule gets dropped into the machine. That is an opportunity for fracture. The whole idea doesn't work. The only way you can get anything remotely close to an espresso is to fill the capsule with ground espresso tamping nothing. I did not have high expectations, but this doesn't even meet the minimal. It's going back.

Was very excited to get this but I followed all directions on the box and was unable to work with my machine, size and quality are good but doesn’t work and stuck easily, unable to drop capsule by her self, need to pull with little force out of the machine, was afraid to damage the coffee machine.Giving 2 stars for the nice look and quality but unable to perform.

This item is not compatible with Essse S12. It jammed in my machine and now regular pods will not work either.
