This book demystifies the employee review process, how companies weigh core competencies, and it gives designers an action plan for growing their career by focusing on what matters. A must read for any designer looking to change career tracks, or who is struggling to get promoted to the next level.

an extensive guide for the contemporary product designer
The Path to SPD boasts remarkable detail, effortlessly capturing the product designer career struggles and offering a roadmap for growth. With practical tips and an insightful framework reminiscent of the author's previous works, it's essential for both budding and senior designers. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to strategize their progression or coach their team effectively.

Las imágenes son de baja calidad
El libro es muy bueno, la información es clara y valiosa. Lo único malo es que las imágenes ilustrativas no se pueden apreciar bien debido a la baja calidad.

A must read resource for any UX / Product Designer.
I wish this book existed when I was in college! The topics in this book will help you focus your efforts in a way that will help you grow in your product design career much faster. I recommend buying the "All Access" bundle on Artiom's website. This book along with all the bonus materials that Artiom includes in the bundle are worth their weight in gold.

Great material, printing quality is off
The book content is good, but there are far too many pages where it's faded, most likely from poor printing jobs. For the price of the book I expected better quality.

This book became the mentor that i needed
I bought the online version of "Path to Senior Designer," and it's one of those books you just can't put down, especially if you're in the design world. It's like finding the perfect mentor in book form, full of little nuggets of wisdom that stick with you. Reading it felt like having a light turned on during a confusing time in my career, especially when trying to step up to a senior role. It's packed with knowledge, but it's not just a dry textbook. It's like the Artiom is right there, chatting with you, making the tough stuff easy to understand and super actionable. Every page had something I could use right away, which is pretty rare for these kinds of books.Honestly, it's been a game changer for me. It's like having a career sidekick, always there with a bit of advice or a new way to look at things. I'm super grateful for this book – it's not just helped me grow professionally, but it's also been a huge confidence booster. Kudos to the Artiom for sharing their wisdom in such a cool, approachable way.

It's gonna be another bestseller
I bought the online version with all the materials, but now I feel I need a paper one as well, as it's definitely a book you want to come back to.First, I want to thank you Artiom for sharing your experience and knowledge. I was figuring out for a while how to approach my career growth and that book was just in time. It's now so clear to me how and what I should do, but not because of concrete "Next steps" (which are extremely valuable) but because of frameworks explained. It's priceless. And the reason why I think it's gonna be another bestseller is because it's so actionable. I think your books are the most (if not the only) practical books in Product design field and it's quite rare.Lastly, thanks for writing about the Product Design career as is. I mean, for some reason it was a relief to read about solo-designers (which is my case) and understand that some processes or issues I see are actually common, that the things I feel are natural to my position too. Everything you wrote just resonated with my current place and how things actually works today, and I feel it's extremely valuable to understands them. As they are rarely shared. Thanks again. It's been one of the best investment of my money and time so far. Can't wait what's your next book gonna be! Best of luck and to any Mid/Solo designer reading this review - highly recommend.

I really didn't like the book.
The author is a terrible writer. I didn't get much from it.
