Smells amazing
Love this, hope they keep making this the same as the smell is amazing. Would like to be able to get it in a smaller size ideally. Value for money as it lasts ages.

Here’s why I won’t repurchase: Only effective on 60% of ingrown and bumps
Former religious bikini hot wax girlie, now switching to laser after successful results on legs.. Tea tree is a known remedy for foliculitis and other fungal skin flare ups which is a common side effect of bikini hair removal but it may not be effective on ALL hair removal bumps. There are more effective treatments. I’ve listed them below if you are interested.Hope this helps you make a more informed decisionDislikes1. Scent: Reminiscent of vapour rub/medicinal creams. Not feminine. Adding a drop of lemon & sweet orange oil makes it smell better.2. More stubborn bumps may need salicylic acid & a pimple patch with medical tape over it to keep it stuck on overnight to draw hair out with tweezers.3. Plucking causes scarring and reoccurring ingrowns: Sometimes this lotion only brings hair to just under skin surface once swelling goes down, I then get tempted to pluck it. Physical exfoliating may help too.4. Cyst or multiple hairs in an ingrown: The best thing for it is sulphur ointment. It stinks and is hard to find in uk but it’s the only thing that brings monster bumps down, dries it out and brings hairs out.5. Salicylic acid, mandelic acid, pimple patches & sulphur ointment are cheaper than this combined. And are more effective in treating ingrowns, discolouration and scarring.6: Pcos: You may be prone to thicker hair due to hormonal imbalances & therefore ingrowns despite waxing. This lotion likely won’t help much. Try diluted spearmint oil instead. It may be effective on stomach, facial hair and excess bikini hair. And No peppermint isn’t the same thing. Drinking it in teas and inositol may help too.7: A bad wax: I learned to hot wax myself. Good patient wax technicians are hard to come by. Especially as so many of our hairs grow in different directions. Using cheap wax, double dipping, the wrong temp, poo wax consistency, bad technique or rushing may give you ingrowns & traumatise skin. This lotion won’t help.8: An antihistamine response: My GP recommended sometimes it’s not ingrowns but a histamine response to waxing skin that we’ve itched or picked at. Taking a antihistamine before waxing can minimise bumps, as well as following correct after care protocol. All the best x

A post waxing essential! Amazing!
I'm thoroughly impressed with the After Wax Lotion Professional. It's a game-changer for anyone who has ever experienced the less-than-pleasant aftermath of waxing. The natural Australian Tea Tree Oil incorporated into this lotion is a standout feature—it not only soothes the freshly waxed skin but also provides much-needed moisture without leaving any greasy residue. After using this product following a bikini wax, I noticed a significant reduction in the usual redness and irritation. The calming effect is almost instantaneous, and my skin feels incredibly soft and supple afterward. What truly sets this lotion apart is its ability to minimize skin irritation. Shaving and waxing can often lead to ingrown hairs, red bumps, and skin irritation, but since incorporating this lotion into my post-hair removal routine, these issues have been kept at bay. The itchiness and redness that used to plague me after waxing sessions are now a thing of the past. It’s suitable for all skin types, and its gentle formula means I can use it daily to maintain smooth, irritation-free skin. This product doesn't just excel in the aftercare of hair removal; it's an excellent daily moisturizer as well. Its versatility is a bonus, proving to be cost-effective since I don't need to buy separate products for moisturizing and post-waxing care. The fact that it has been a professional choice in salons and beauty clinics across Europe for over 25 years speaks volumes about its efficacy and reliability. For over three decades, the developers have been creating superior skincare solutions, and it shows in the quality of this lotion. If you're looking for post-waxing care that prioritizes your skin's health and comfort, the After Wax Lotion Professional is the way to go.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Good for soothing skin, not so much for ingrown hair.
It’s great at soothing my skin after an at-home IPL treatment or wax. A blessing especially in intimate areas and areas that come into contact with clothing. My skin is quite sensitive and it can become irritated if I don’t apply something. Leaves the skin feeling cool and hydrated. It’s easy to apply, absorbs well and a little goes a long way. It also doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue. As for ingrown hairs it hasn’t worked for me. I haven’t seen them clear out and I get them just as I did without using this. A good old fashion exfoliation has been what works for me.I would’ve preferred it if there was some sort of additional oil in the ingredients to mask the tea tree scent. It’s really strong, pungent and it lingers.Overall, it’s quite expensive for something that my pure aloe vera cream does the same job as, except the latter is a fraction of the price.
