Small in size, it also has a beautiful case. Easy to use. The screen is large enough and easy to read. It is very good that it can measure in both directions, it makes it possible to measure from where you are. You don't have to go from wall to wall.

Bi lateral laser makes difficult areas easy to measure
As a tool for house shopping, the bi-lateral laser makes it easy and convenient to measure rooms, large areas, ceiling height, etc. The flexibility and accuracy over using a traditional tape measure makes this a no brainer purchase. There are a lot of different specialized functions and calculations that are not necessary to get the basic functionality from this tool. It is easy to turn on, easy to switch laser functions, and easy to recall numbers later. Learning to use advanced functions is simply a matter of reading the book. Using advanced functions a few times as part of your normal usage model (if you want area or sf calculations) is pretty easy to commit to memory if you use it all the time. So. I disagree with complaints about it being hard to use or too steep a learning curve. Just use the tool and it will become intuitive the more it’s used.

Wrong Measurements
Off by 1/8 to 1/4 inch, even on short measurements. Exchanged for a second one, still had the same issues.

A fantastic device
Have used it a few times after receiving it. This is really easy to and convenient to use. Tested its accuracy using a measuring tape and also compared it to a Leica branded one and found it to be accurate enough for all the intended purposes. Highly recommended.
