NespressoCapsules Original Line, Variety Pack, Napoli and Venezia Espresso Coffee, 50 Count Espresso Coffee Pods

I have over two dozen different dark espresso capsules in my collection that I drink as lungo. Over time, this Nespresso Ispirazione Napoli has emerged as my favorite because of it's flavor and creaminess. All the capsules are good although Forte can only be used as expresso (not lungo) because of strength. Any of the Nespressos designed specifically for lungo will have a stronger flavor.

Very rich dark flavor not bitter at all. Makes a great drink with some steamed oat milk.

Delicious! Better than the Peet's capsules you can get for less at Costco. Flavor is rich and not burnt or bitter. Highly Recommend. Watch for 20-25% off sales and stock up!

I have been using Nespresso machines and their coffees for 10+ years. One of my favorite coffees has been Napoli due to its intensity and smoothness. These capsules I ordered from Amazon are dated 2/10/2024, making them a full year old, but I notice difference in their quality.Update There are two dates on Nespresso coffee sleeves. One for when it was packed and the other a best by date. These capsules were not outdated.These were not outdated. There are two dates on the sleeve. The first is when it was packaged. The second one is the best by date. The best by date was months later from when I received the coffee.

The Napoli is amazing if you like a bold, dark roast espresso with a great depth of flavors. However when we order them from Amazon almost all the pods are frequently dented and damaged. Im not sure how this is happening. The box will appear undamaged, sometimes the sleeves inside the shipping box will show signs of damage, but frequently both the shipping box and sleeve inside will appear mostly undamaged and yet EVERY SINGLE POD in all 5 sleeves will somehow be dented and damaged. Sometimes so badly that they'll jam up our machine and pods get wasted.The strange part is that when we order them directly from Nespresso, they often arrive in very similar packaging and condition,but are rarely ever damaged! Its a frustrating mystery.Sometimes Nespresso pods go on amazing sales on Amazon and it saves a significant amount of money. But in our experience, it's a gamble as to what condition they'll arrive in. Thankfully Amazon has been good about refunds/replacements. But still frustrating and confusing nonetheless.
