Excellent device for the price
This thermometer is a must, The temperature readings are accurate and this is very easy to use. It has excellent functionality because you can actually apply the wire thermometer so you can leave it in for things that are in the oven. This make sure your food never gets overcooked and it starts beeping when your food is cooked. Good value for money. I think digital thermometers are absolutely a must as they are much quicker to use than a non-digital one which can take absolutely ages to get up to temp fast enough so if you are looking for a thermometer absolutely get a digital one.

Fast, Accurate, and Easy to Use – A Kitchen Must-Have!
I’m really impressed with the ThermoPro TP710! It’s incredibly fast and accurate—gives a temperature reading in just a few seconds, which is perfect when you're grilling or cooking and need quick results. The display is bright and easy to read, even in low light, and I love that it rotates automatically depending on how you hold it. The waterproof design is a nice bonus too, making it easy to clean under running water. The build feels solid and durable, not flimsy like some cheaper thermometers.Whether you're cooking steak to the perfect medium-rare or checking the internal temp on a roast chicken, this thermometer is a reliable kitchen tool. Highly recommend it to anyone who takes their cooking seriously!

Quality Item
If you’re looking for a cooking thermometer don’t look any further. This is a quality product with all the functionality you’ll need. Quality packaging, water proof, backlit display, auto switch on/off, actual temperature and required temperature of meat side by side on display, separate temperature probe for checking items in oven without opening door continually, magnetic back so can be stuck on oven when using probe and for storage on side of microwave when not in use, hanging hook if you prefer and many more functions all in a well made sturdy design. Will update if there are any long term reliability issues.

Works well for beer making.
I use this thermometer when I'm making beer, because it has the extension probe on a cable. This makes it a lot safer to use, because holding a thermometer without a remote probe probe over a pot of boiling liquid to take the temperature is difficult and dangerous. This thermometer is far more suitable for brewing beer than the ones without a probe. The thermometer is nicely presented and has a brushed metal finish. The display can be changed to read Celsius or Fahrenheit, and it stays on whichever you choose. This is an improvement over my usual thermometer, which annoyingly defaults to Fahrenheit and needs to be changed to Celsius every time I switch it on.I made a brew today and took the opportunity to compare this thermometer with the one I usually use, and they read the same to within less than a degree. I was pretty impressed with that. The extension probe makes the thermometer so much more useful. For the mash process the temperature of the liquid needs to be kept at 65 degrees C. By leaving the extension inside the pot I could monitor the temperature easily without having to keep opening the lid - which lets the heat out and changes the temperature. The thermometer also has an alarm, which rather mysteriously was already set to 65 degrees C. This is really handy as you can set it to warn you if the pot is about to boil and you can take action before it boils over. The alarm isn't very loud, but it works. The cable for the extension is very thin, made of braided metal and seems pretty strong. You could put the probe inside your fermentation vessel and use it to check the fermentation temperature if you wanted. I didn't, because I can't do much about it if it's wrong. My room temperature isn't controllable so I have to let nature do its job. This is a little more expensive than others digital thermometers. The extension probe makes all the difference though, and is totally worth it for beer-making.

I finally have a good probe my partner can be proud of…
Previously owned a Salter digital thermometer, this lasted about a year before the probe snapped away from the body, superglue kept it going for another 6 months but it finally detached again. Thus bringing me to Amazon in search of a replacement. Discovered this nice looking probe with only a few reviews, all of which from the Vine programme, I was a bit dubious but ordered anyway.Ladies and Gentlemen, this is THE probe. Done. Finished. Completed. No other company need bother trying to come up with another one.Accuracy? Check. Matches the previous Salter which I knew was accurate.Usage? Easy. Twist out the probe and the unit switches on itself, pop it in your meat and get instant readings. Same goes for probe 2 but this probe is attached via a wire, thus enabling you to monitor food being cooked in the oven. Forgot what the safe temps are? No worries, its on the back of the unit. Never give yourself salmonella again. The unit is also magnetic so go ahead, stick it to metal stuff. It’s waterproof or should I say splashproof. Don’t submerge the thing but just run it under a tap and give it a quick wipe. It has a light up display, handy for when you cook in the dark (yes I like to challenge myself). Bottle opener also attached, handy for when you cook whilst downing a few cold ones. Please drink responsibly. It looks good doesn’t it? Yes it does. It’s about to get better. What battery does it use you may ask? AA? AAA? CR302? Some random size which you can only buy online? No no and no. We’re talking built in rechargeable LITHIUM baby! Charges via USB TYPE C, welcome to 2022, the future. All of the above for less than £20. I’ve probed it and its a very very hot deal.Yours sincerely, a paying customer.

Solid and very easy to operate
Must have in the kitchen - shows temp quickly, you can set alarms and use one device to check on different dishes. I use for steaks and it helps hugely to get them right.
