Adjustable Cheek Rest Riser .125" - Premium Cheek Rest

I bought a Rossi LWC .357 in Dec. With the scope on it I found myself struggling to get a good sight picture with the factory stock. I was using my chin to get a sight picture and it was killing my neck. Found this and bought it.I clamped it to my stock with a wood clamp with the cheekpiece as high as I could get it on the stock and drilled 1/4" holes at the bottom of the slots. I drilled one side and then the other. Worked perfect. I cut off the excess of the bolts and used a sharpie to color them black on the cut off ends. I set it to align my eye with the scope when I bring it up. It works perfectly.The cheeckpiece is flexible plastic and the carbon fiber is a vinyl decal. The decal can get torn if you slide it up and down with the bolts snug so don't do that. I'm very happy with this and my groups improved with it.

I bought this as an inexpensive alternative to a new stock as most rifles do not allow for proper cheek placement when using a scope straight out of the box. It did/does EXACTLY what it should and is sturdy…making for consistent shot placements at all distances! I was very Leary about drilling through my rifle stock, but I went slowly and followed the directions without any issues. I will be using these on every rifle moving forward!

Bolt that goes through stock is squared on one side and bottoms out on stock and will not tighten good, use a black washer that just slides over squared part of bolt and go ahead and use it under other side with the tightening nuts, it will prevent the squared side from bottoming out and have more surface area on riser to tighten down on, that's why it's good on both sides, now riser is rock solid. Also for looks I cut off the excess of bolt sticking out and used a black permanent marker to make it black again as the cut off bolt will be silver after you cut it.

Bought this one in khaki due to the cheaper price. Cost me about $20 less than the premium brands like Matthews. The installation was easy and the unit seems to be very tough and durable. Can't imagine needing anything thicker or stronger. I did have to wiggle the drill bit around a little due to an internal brace within the stock but no big deal. It works fine, stays in place and doesn't slip.

This was not what I expected! I bought the one that appears to be carbon. It's sturdy. Very well put together. Smooth edges. Best looking cheek riser I own! Looks marvelous on my black stock of my rifle. Only drawback is that the bolts were too short. A quick trip to the hardware store, and I was in business.

My pellet rifle had a double Monte Carlo stock. One on right and one on left. I was a little skeptical ordering this since the add said it could not be used on a Monte Carlo stock. I think their right it will not work on a single sided Monte Carlo. For my gun it worked perfect. I didn't use the bolts sent with the riser. After adjusting riser to height fit I drilled 2 holes on each side of stock. Then used 4 rubber washers and 4 fender washers and 4 # 10 sheet metal screws to tighten every thing down. The cheek riser works perfect. Don't be afraid to change things up a little. None of this stuff work perfect from the factory. You have to think a little.

I have several 'target/varmint' rifles and this style of riser makes for a perfect scope alignment.I have a supply of 5 , for now.One 'tip'.....Before drilling your stock, make SURE you can install your bolt! All of my rifles have the bolts removed and secured in a separate location. Just in case.My last install (on a Savage HB Axis 223 AI I built) was 1/4" too close to the action. Luckily, these are easy to modify.....
