Our house is... well, bug-gy. Our dog brings home the odd inevitable flea, we see the occasional clothes moths in the Spring, and we have mould mites (boo) every winter. This is a handy way of limiting their numbers with each year. I'm pretty sure that the mould mites in particular would have been rampant by now if it wasn't for this stuff. I can't even tell you how bad it was... they were literally partying ON MY HEADBOARD and crawling across EVERYTHING the first time they appeared.We rubbed this into the carpets, beneath skirting boards, under furniture - and whilst obviously diatomaceous earth doesn't fix the root of the problem (mould/damp) - it's made a huge difference. I could count on both hands the amount of mites I saw this winter, and it has prevented any clothes moth eggs hatching.This was recommended to me on a forum and has actually been one of the handiest buys ever. It comes in a massive sturdy tub, is easy to sprinkle into carpets or fabrics, and has been a life-saver. Unless you're a bug. I hear this can also be used in flowerbeds to stop snails eating your plants, but I can't brign myself to test it.This stuff gets everywhere (you'll be sneezing brown dust) and it dries out your hands terribly, so make sure to have good ventilation and ideally rubber gloves.

Definitely helped me eliminate fleas from my suffering dog, brilliant product, rub on fur and added to dinner. Also used it in the garden

I'm not sure whether this really worked or not. It certainly made a mess. And it may be harmless to pets, but it got all over their fur and dried my dog's skin, and made more mess. It didn't seem to do much to control the fleas, we ended up blasting the place with more traditional chemicals and putting a Seresto collar on the dog. Most of the bucket is sitting in the kitchen, unused. Does anyone have any ideas for what to do with 2kg of fine earth powder?

Bought this as was fed up of gnat on my indoor plants ..watching out for them 24/7 tried cinnamon/ peroxide/ gnat traps so this had a good write up on it so i thought id give ut a try so glad i did ...use a mask when handling tho but comes in a huge tub and u only need a sprinkle over top of dry soil. I've had one or two gnats since stuck on the traps on a certain plant but there is usually alot more every morning I come down . This will last me ages but well worth the money .

So far so good - just about to order for the third time. We use it in the chicken house and coop to control red mites and other nasties. easy to use and the main thing is its safe! Also used it to get rid of ants nests in my compost heap. Good to know can use if the cats get fleas! Leaflet included very helpful on use. PLeased to be able to support a small UK business.
