Game changer for stubborn dogs
Let me preface this review with the following:I have never had the need or want for one of these devices before with any of my previous dogs. This purchase was a last resort after purchasing books, apps and other resources for dog training. My dog is just that stubborn and strong willed enough to be resistant to most training that isn't tricks. This has turned my dogs behaviour around in less than 2 hours of use. She has quickly learned that jumping up is not ok, after all the different methods I've tried before buying this. It's Working on encountering other dogs and her excessive barking and lunging.Boundary training: she will wait at my front door when its open and wait to be approached/told to come rather than dart out when she sees a friend.I have yet to try it when we encounter a pack of deer next but I'm hopeful it will.help with recall.Easy set up, battery life seems good so far.Definitely test it before you put it on the dog.You probably will not need anything above a 6 on the vibration setting, it's quite strong. You are given loads of collar length, you could probably fit on XL dogs as well depending on breed (it fits my neighbours boerboel)

Good idea seems to work
I’m seems to be effective from the get-go. My red setter does not like the vibration at all, so the process is that if he is starting to runoff, you tap the beep which gains his attention if that is insufficient for him to turn around and come back to you, you then press the vibrate so I’m at the position now where simply pressing the beep on the collar is enough to bring him back. Good solid construction good range.

Real game changer - our dog now pays attention!
Game changer! Our golden retriever is an absolute raptor sometimes. He was pulling on his lead, so we bought a halti. That helped a little bit, but he got out of that pretty easily. So we decided to give this a go.We wanted to go for a vibrating & sound collar rather than a shock collar as that just feels cruel and we wouldn't want to put our little bestie through that. The first time we hit the beep button, the poor little thing jumped out of his skin and ran straight to us. Coupled with well timed commands like "heel", and "no", he got the jist of things pretty quickly. We're now at the point where we can put the collar on him without even taking the remote and he's listening to his commands.Functionality wise you have 3 buttons, beep, vibrate, and vibrate & beep. So we think of those as warning levels. A beep being a gentle warning, a vibrate being more stern, and the vibrate and beep being the "top tier" warning. You can also adjust the intensity of the vibration from the dial at the top of the remote unit. The collar size is quite adjustable and means it'll fit most dogs. Although we did find that the remaining strap would just flap around once fitted, and there's no included clip to retain this. So we've added a small elastic band to stop it flapping around in the wind. - It's not overly ugly in it's appearance either, the remote is a good style, as is the collar itself, which doesn't overly advertise itself as a training collar. The devices are charged using USB-C, and charge quickly if you've got a power supply with a good enough wattage.Definitely recommend this, the only flaw being that there's no clip for retaining the extra length of the collar.

Won’t last long
Avoid! Bought in January barely used and now it’s completely stopped working! No way to contact company for refund or replacement so I’ve literally just wasted £30+ will be looking into it further as surely by law most things should carry a 12 month guarantee? Really disappointed

Massive turn around
My Labrador had zero recall when we are on walks. He gets fixated on other dogs, smells and generally prolonging the walk as long as possible by running away, feigning deafness or amnesia. I have tried all the trainer’s suggestions but nothing worked.I just needed something to break the cretin’s concentration in order to restore his hearing.THIS IS IT!I call his name, no response, *BUZz*, call his name and magically he comes back!Just like my 40kg fur toddler, it’s not perfect. It works about 80% of the time, which is infinitely better than 0% of the time. It’s waterproof, running through bushes proof, rolling in mud proof, mostly idiot human proof. My top tips:- Don’t over use it or they get used to it and ignore it.- Check the channel! I thought that it was broken, nope, had the remote on channel 2 and the collar on 1!!- Don’t use it like a normal collar, don’t attach a lead! I recommend the Halti face harness and a body harness for draggers.- Relax. If it doesn’t work first time, don’t give up. Even if it doesn’t work at all it’s still cheaper than trying a trainer or pet psychologist.Good luck.

Less Effective Than I Hoped
I wasn’t too impressed with this.I’d prefer it to have a little more of a jolt (I know its a vibrating collar not a shock collar)My dog literally thinks he has an insect around his head from the sound of the vibration, so all he does is gets more excited and confused at the same time. The audio beep is quite good so I’ll give it that.I also wasn’t too happy that the remote control part, turns itself off, so when you press a button to correct your dog nothing happens, and by the time you click it off and on again and go to required setting, its too late to correct the dog anyway.I have even tried this on myself and family members who were surprised how little you could feel anything so also questioned how a dog would respond to it.Personally Don’t recommend.2 stars simply because the Build quality is quite good and the Audio tone isn’t awful.
