Great little book for my 10 year old

Well written and very informative book for kids.

This audiobook was a comprehensive informative timeline of the history of the United States, from the first settlers to approximately 2021. With activities and/or quizzes after each chapter, it helps to reinforce what the kids learned in that chapter.The narrator spoke clearly and slowly, and gave breaks for the questions to be answered. I think it is a good classroom tool for upper elementary students, to maybe the beginning of middle school. Also perfect for homeschooling families.

Cute book for kids

I’m homeschooling my daughter and this is a great book to dip your toe into American History! It’s also a refresher for us older folks! I highly recommend! Very easy to read!

Don't waste your money - poor quality, hard to read, not interesting in any way.

My son is a young reader but we read this together and it showed good breadth and a little bit of depth to many subjects. We used the chapter reviews to memorize the sequence of events of the revolutionary war and it was concisely appropriate for his age and comprehension level.

Since we have homeschooled our children, they have grown up with the AD notation in their reading. My daughter was enjoying this book but didn’t like the CE replacement of the AD. She likes the more traditional notation. Because of this, she will finish the book, but I doubt she will ask for any more, which is sad as she is quite a history buff. I guess we will move onto another series.
