The Gnostic Bible: Revised Edition: Revised and Expanded Edition Paperback – 1 April 2009

I've not read all of this by any means, but the introductions and background and commentary and contextual explanations are excellent. Very pleased with the contents and the presentation.

The introduction to each text is excellent, giving historical and religious context. The glossary is very helpful. Fascinating reading to put the 'standard' Bible in perspective.
