Works as it should and is by far more handy than the “higher end” LED lights!Only downfall is it’s not as tall so it reflects more off the cab. I’d recommend it though

Put this on my Nissan Rogue hood and it didn't stick - disappointed in the magnet until I figured out that my hood is PLASTIC! Put it on my roof and it sticks fine. I love it for night driving, which I hate. It is especially good on country roads, where I can't see the side roads, street signs, driveways, and mailboxes ... until I turn this light on. This works. I also used one of the programable buttons on the rearview mirror for on and off; the programable button only turns it on and off, so I still need the fob to rotate the light. For driving, I leave it turned to the right to give me the best light for that side and use the fob only if I need to rotate it - no fishing for the fob to turn it on just hit the button. It looks like it belongs on a boat or service vehicle, but I'm not fussy, and the price is right. I love it.

Replaced the batteries in the remote, paired unit and the light would not respond to directional commands. Unit came with two sets of batteries, I bought new hoping it would help. The light itself was nice, glass lens, heavy, and the light came on when plugged in. Bad remote is my thought.

Bought this for overnight graveyard shifts as security. This remote controlled spotlight makes patrolling a breeze. No need to leave the safety of the vehicle when doing perimeter sweeps. Keeps me out of inclement weather. Most importantly, having had a few incidents involving pop shots when on foot carrying a flashlight. This light protects me. The FBI have a technique that involves holding a flashlight with a extended arm above you or far to the side. It looks goofy and is hard to maintain for long periods of time. However this technique is very effective when in close quarters firefight. 8/10 a panicked light blinded enemy will shoot at the light missing the operator. Haven't had any incidents involving people shooting at the spotlight yet, but if it will save my life and keep me coming home to my family, it is worth it's weight in gold. I'll be back if that should ever happen, to buy another. Be safe out there.

The brightness of the light is amazing and can really help anyone needing extra light at night.

Remote quit working second time I used it. Can’t find where to get another one.

Bought this light for my father and it came didn't work. I notice the batteries in the remote were dead already. They pack the heavy light on top of the remote and it drains the battery before you get to use it once. After fresh batteries the light and remote work great

I have two of these spot lights. Both function as advertised. Magnetic base is strong. I keep it on the roof of my trucks with no issues. I clean under the base periodilly so the magnets keep a good surface to attach to. I recommend replacing the halogen bulb with a LED H3 bulb. It's easy to do. Just remove the four screws on the face plate and take the bulb out of the back. The unit is 3x brighter with the LED bulb I purchased. If you choose to swap the bulb, be certain to purchase a bulb that has a short base so that there is clearance for the lamp to move in the rear. I found out that a long base bulb will restrict movement. Good purchase.
