Bought this for my bedroom when I go for holidays. as I am worried about my house because my area is not safe. So it can be light the house even nobody in . After downloading the Smart Life app, the app picked these plugs up immediately . Literally took 1 minute to set up the plug from start to finish. Instruction leaflet clear and concise. I have the Smart Life app on my phone and tablet. I tried setting this up on my phone but it kept telling me it was not compatible with the 5ghz WiFi. I tried setting it up using the app on my tablet using the same WiFi and it worked first time. Oh well ..hey ho! Love it.

Works very well off app no problems

Have it 4 weeks and it stopped working. Light comes on and off but it doesn't get any power.

This is just what I needed. I would say I probably dont use the plug to its full potential but I use it to turn on our electric blanket in the bedroom in the winter before going to bed. I use the app which comes with the plug to set a countdown timer (or its called inching) so that after I turn on the plug (which powers the blanket) it will always turn off after 20 mins. So regardless of how I turn the blanket on (via the switch on the side of the plug or remote via the app) it will only stay on for 20 mins. I have a Google home which I havent tried it with yet, but so far impressed. Had no issues setting it up with the app.

This smart plug works with Alexa, just add device, follow the instructions and it connects in minutes. Now I am able to voice control and easily turn of all my charging stations before bed :)
