Cielo Breez Max upgrade for Mitsubishi mini splits
I've been using 3 Cielo Breez Eco units with our Mitsubishi splits. I purchased these to operate the splits remotely, as the cost of Mitsubishi's OEM Kumo Cloud device was extremely expensive per split. I came across the Cielo Breez Max while searching for an alternative to the Kumo Cloud controller. The Cielo Breez Eco worked extremely well for the year and a half that I'd owned them. However, we had a problem with one of the splits making a lot of noise (two pitches coming from the unit when the unit was running), and the owner of the company that installed the system came to the house to evaluate the issue. I'd shown him the Cielo Breez Eco and the app, and he was thoroughly impressed and told me that he'd take the information about the Cielo products back to the shop and recommend it to his customers (a lot of his customers are elderly and on a fixed income, and he stated that they couldn't afford the Kumo controller, in addition to the fact that they were technically challenged). He had one of his technicians come to the house to repair the unit, which turned out to be a controller board that wasn't getting enough power to run the fan and the motor, which was causing the dual pitched noise. After replacing the control board, and when using the Cielo app to test out the repair, it was noticed that only one side (right) of the set of louvers were actually being controlled with the swing feature, which concerned him (and me!).After the technician left, I immediately contacted Cielo Tech Support regarding this problem. The tech support representative explained to me that on some mini split units, only one side would be controlled by the Cielo Breez Eco with the app (as some splits only have one set of louvers), and that to get those to work properly, it was advised that I purchase their Cielo Breez Max item, as it has additional features that the Cielo Breez Eco wasn't designed with.Wanting to be able to have a better functioning split, I went ahead and ordered one Cielo Breez Max device through Amazon in order to install it and test it. The Cielo Breez Max arrived promptly and I installed it and ran it through the evaluation process. (NOTE: Following the instructions to pair the Mitsubishi remote with the Breez Max, it still did not control both sets of louvers. But, since I'd had the Breez Eco devices in the past, I knew that I could call Cielo's tech support and they'd get me up and running.)Working with a Cielo tech support technician, they have access to my Breez Max device, and he went through a couple of remote control models and was able to get me up and running perfectly in no time! It's great to be able to have both sets of louvers (when selecting the SWING feature) working! Plus, after working with him, he gave me a discount code through Cielo to purchase the 2 additional Cielo Breez Max units to pair with my additional 2 mini splits. After receiving the 2 new Cielo Breez Max units from Cielo, I installed them and again contacted Cielo's tech support to have the technician get the proper model selected for the splits so that they all had the proper settings to control the swing feature on the splits. We're up and running with all the splits working as they should. As a point of interest, which I did not know, when finishing up with the latest technician, I was a bit concerned about the fan speed not coming on immediately upon initiating the heat mode. He had me select the cool feature, and the fan speed came on immediately and responded when changing the fan speed and swing feature between the different levels. He then had me select the heat mode; it didn't come on immediately. However, at this point, the technician explained that this was normal, as the outside unit takes a bit to heat up, and when it does reach the proper heating temperature, the fans will then actuate and start blowing as they are programmed to do, which they did. His description and explanation alleviated any anxiety on my part and reassured me that everything was working as it should. An important feature to anyone having multiple split units is ensuring that ALL units are in the same selected mode (heating, cooling, and dry modes - "a multi-zone mini-split system can only function in either cooling or heating mode at any given time, but not both simultaneously, as they have the same refrigerant flow. This limitation often leads to mode conflicts when one unit is set to heat while others are operating in cool mode or vice versa" so as not to damage the main unit). The Cielo Breez Max has a feature called "Multi-Zone Mini-Split Control" where you can create a setting to ensure all devices are switched to the same mode when turning on one unit to avoid damaging the system.I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase of the Cielo Breez Max | ENERGY STAR CERTIFIED Smart AC Controller | WiFi Thermostat for Mini-Split, Window, Portable ACs/Heat Pumps. It's nice to have an item work the way it's advertised to, and it has a user friendly interface, compared to looking at the OEM remote and trying to figure it out with all the different symbols, features, and having to slide the keyboard cover up and down to select and change to different modes and settings. And, primarily the feature to control your splits remotely through Wi-Fi connections when away from your property (which is why I initially purchased my Cielo products) is the main reason I purchased the product(s).I am totally satisfied with my purchase(s) of my Cielo products, namely the Cielo Breez Max. And Cielo's technical support is top notch. The technicians that I've worked with are professional and very knowledgeable. And, I like the fact that they are very concerned with how their service to you was, as they follow up any contact with them to ensure your product is working properly and to see if you're having any other problems! The Cielo Breez Max is a great product, and I most highly recommend this item, along with their other fine products!

Great for mobile home etc. SAVE $$ If you have mobility issues link Amazon device for VOICE control.
Hi folks, this is long, but if you want good info, this is for you. Just an honest review, with hope it helps other cost and environmentally conscious consumers, and hope it may assist those with less mobilty. I am not paid for this review.Writing reviews is really not my thing, I am old school and more word of mouth. But, the Cielo company has more than EARNED this review.I am HIGHLY IMPRESSED with Cielo employees, products, and their customer service. And, I am not at all easy to impress.1) Cielo ANSWERS their PHONES in a timely manner! And, they truly will call you back! There may be a slight delay, while they work on your issues, but they have always called back. It’s okay for for you ring them too, and they will courteously update you of the progress.2) Customer Service is EXCELLENT! I have never had any issues with CS, they have always been real and professional. But remember the customer needs to be polite and civil too. Dont be a lame bully!3) Cielo seriously backs their products! Cielo will WORK HARD to resolve any issues, and take CARE of their CUSTOMERS.4) Cielo is an up and coming technology & CUSTOMER FOCUSED company achieving numerous AWARDS.5) Cielo products I own have helped me SAVE water, electricity, and will turn on/off in Comfy Mode and that rests & cools the cooler motor too. Saves me from getting up & down, for remote or on/off human operation, all while providing steady comfort.(I can barely walk sometimes, this is critical to be able to link the Cielo Breeze MAX to Amazon Echo and be able to control on/off by VOICE. My cooler is really basic, so I can only do on/off by voice. But, if you own a more advanced cooler & remote you can call Cielo and ask what yours may be able to do.) From someone who can barely stand at times in excruciating pain, or barely lift my arms, this Cielo Breeze MAX, VOICE CONTROL is VERY IMPORTANT for those with less mobility.6) Folks, Cielo GETS IT. Cielo understands good solid professional customer service & business! You know that thing, consumers are so sick and tired and frustrated about when dealing with other companies. Long call waits, being brushed aside or even hung up on. Not even trying to resolve your issue. And then your lunch hour is up, nothing resolved. I have not come anywhere close to any of those negative issues stated above with Cielo. Cielo understands customer service! Here is my real life experiences with Cielo…Having spoken with numerous employees at Cielo from CS reps to a supervisor and manager, no where did the service ever falter, as it has been excellent at all levels. At first, my cooler was not on their list. So when I contacted them, it took a few days, but the techs were able to add it to their system, and it has worked with this cooler ever since. (Thanks Cielo!).Cielo has also asked me for photos of my remote control etc., and I was pleased to assist. We as a team (Yeah, Cielo & customer, that’s cool!) were able to provide the Cielo Breeze capability to more coolers that consumers own. So don’t hesitate to give Cielo a call, if you don’t see your cooler, split AC, etc. on their list. Be a teammate and help others get access to these great products, and make the call.Cielo is very CUSTOMER FOCUSED, so If you ever have any issues with your product, call them. Again, I have made a prep list of questions prior to the call, so I can be focused and precise, then called about the product functions. Cielo reps were patient with my questions, and they clearly explained some of the functions don’t work with my real basic cooler. They also shared with me ways to better utilize the Cielo Breeze MAX Comfy mode & schedules. If needed, they went over somethings multiple times, because I am one of those, that one answer may trigger another needed applicable question.Heck, even when I was ready to buy, they assisted me with where they thought I could buy it at a lower price, even though their website did have a sale. They referred me to Amazon. What a great company! They did not try and suck me into a higher dollar purchase. Team work, gotta love it!The bottom line folks, from what I have experienced Cielo is a solid professional company! You can even have a giggle with the CS reps, yeah they are real! (Not Ai).I have been monitoring the comapny their products, and hope to purchase more Cielo products in the future.BUY CIELO PRODUCTS with CONFIDENCE!Do you think they will hire me after this?Hope you’re giggling, but most of all I hope this helps someone, and SAVE consumers $$$.Also hope it helps lighten the electrical grid load. Whew! Environmental changes are real!

Awesome
Very nice additional set-up for my Mitsubishi Mini Split (MZ-WR18NA) 18,000 BTU.Somone on youtube posted that you loose your remote control usage with this system and that is not 100% correct. It is dependent on what type remote you have, recommend calling Ceilo and they will let you know if your remote is compatiable. I am using two remotes that are indeed compatable with this device. One remote is the OEM Mitsubishi that came with my Mini Split, and one is an aftermarket sold here on Amazon and both work absolutly fine with the system. Ceilo recommends pointing the remotes directly at their device and not at the Mini Split.Initial set up was simple and quick, and I am not an iPhone/app person. I use as little technology/apps as possible, however this app/system is great. I can turn on my mini-split on my drive home from my phone app.I mounted my Ceilo controller directly under my Mini Split about 3-4 foot on my garage wall, and it communicates flawlessly. I have mine pluged into the wall and there is NO requirement to wire it directly to th mini split, it communicates with your mini split via RF/IR signal. The OEM version has to be direct wired to the mini split and cost about 100.00 and doesn't have a nice display screen or any screen for that matter like the Ceilo.
