I don’t always expect to get what I order and often prepare myself for disappointment, but I have to say this dinosaur is pretty awesome. Good center of gravity and a well thought out pose so it doesn’t fall over. The mouth opens and closes very naturally as well. I’m more than impressed and I’d definitely recommend!

This is for a 5 year old but I'm kinda impressed with how well it's painted. I think it will hold up to him playing with it for a bit.

This dinosaur is great for kids, young and old! We gave this to a 10 year old girl who loves dinosaurs for her birthday, and she absolutely loved it! It came packaged well and shipped quickly.

First of all, make no mistake I absolutely LOVE this dinosaur “toy” and it was a gift for someone else. If you are curious why I say “toy” like this, it is simple. This is more like a statue or figurine rather than a “toy”. It is of VERY NICE quality and craft (and weight). If you are looking for your typical department store JP boxed dinosaur, I suggest you move on. If you are looking for something cool for a display case or a shelf, JR is your buy! I hope this helps!

I ordered these with the intent of either letting kids play with them when they come to visit or putting them on a display shelf. They arrive in a cool box that right away tells you that care was put into these toys. As soon as I unboxed them, I was blown away by the quality and detail of these toys. The manufacturer did an amazing job with both the overall structure as well as the colors of each piece. It's an amazing value at this price point to get two of them. They seem durable enough to put up with the ruff and tuff play of children, in fact they are actually heavier than you would expect. I left the dinosaur in the plastic because it stands so well on it, we purchased a similar looking one some time back and I noticed that without the base it's a little more tippy. This isn't a problem really depending on where you are placing it and definitely not if you are purchasing them for kids to play with. The gorilla has the rock to put his hands on which is actually a separate piece, and he stands just fine whether you use the rock or not. If you or someone you know are fans of either or both of the movies that these are from, I would suggest you grab this deal before they are sold out.
