Good product and easy to assemble

As I get older I'm always looking for ways to make my life easier. I have a small propane fireplace fueled by 30 pd tanks. When the tank is empty it stops suddenly and then I'm outside moving a replacement tank and hooking it up. And of course this always happens when it's cold. I purchased this 2-tank adapter and it works as described. Two tanks hooked up, one is feeding the fireplace. The indicator on the device shows which tank is being used. When that tank is empty the device automatically switches to the other tank. I check tanks now and then and if I see one is empty, I can disconnect and head to filling station. What a nice feature! The device has connector pipe that is covered in stainless which should provide lots of protection. And it comes with a reducer to screw in different size propane pipes. I added a quick connect adapter (Amazon B08R8SVF68) between device and existing propane line to make removal easier. It is a good idea to keep water out of the regulator so I cut a plastic ketchup bottle to size that slides over the regulator. It works. By the way, notice the device comes with gauges to indicate fill of tanks. Also a nice feature.

Received unit today and it appears to be of excellent quality.I would like to receive some type of manual or instruction sheet detailing mounting bracket installation, explaining automatic switching and how transfer switch works.

Not suitable for sub zero temps, some parts of the hose assemblies are plastic and will break off if under pressure such as removing and installing a tank cover. The seller offered a full refund, unfortunately there is no way to differentiate between the product and the seller when reviewing. 5 stars for the seller.

Update: Great customer support. They have sent a replacement. It looks a little different, so hopefully there have been made some updates inside and prevent it from leaking again within a few months.Easy to set up and it switches the bottles automatically when the first is empty.Unfortunately one pig tail hose is leaking after only a few months.There is a warranty on the parts, but I did not find a way to contact the supplier directly.
